I don’t know why you’re trying to tell me, a bisexual about bisexuality as if I don’t know what I’m talking about. Especially in bloodclaart pride month, but ok.

Correction: Mainly straight men treat it as a fad because they can only associate bisexuality with MFF threesomes and nothing deeper.

The celebration you speak of is simply fetishisation which does nothing to help us be treated better or be more respected. You can still lose your job, get kicked out/disowned by your family, be attacked and suffer depression as a result of how bisexuality is treated. That’s hardly an advantage or a celebration.

It’s also an excellent illustration of the absurdity of our default clothed habits. Even if you’re not able to overcome the wider cultural taboo of nudity, why wear clothes at home when it’s not cold? What purpose do clothes serve when you’re just sat at a computer or watering your plants? You don’t need protection from clothing most of the time. Indeed sometimes, like doing yoga, they’re just a hindrance!
