A lot of the stop signs power comes from it being an octagon, one of the shapes that has more sides, if a stop sign was a square I don't think I would respect it enough to make a full stop because of the four... But the octagons eight, intimidates me

They one time implemented a 16 sided stop sign but it quickly gained sentiency and made the small town it was tested at stop forever

there's a way of looking and not looking. like a window pane dotted with hard water stains. if you adjust your field of focus it goes through the pane, but it doesn't have to. you can see everything either way
