Stormfall

Everything about this world is amazing, even if getting here had been sort of scary. There are so many different sorts of people here and some of them are animals or just look like them. People look at them with strange looks and there are people here that are bigger than Terra - or even Master. There had been a giant claw like monster chasing him in the lanes between so he did his best to avoid it and when he got here and heard a very familiar voice.

Aqua was going the same direction obviously and she didn't want him to go anywhere without her.

Finally.

This is why he had asked her to take him with her in the first place so maybe she finally understood that they needed to stay together. They need to find Terra.

He can hear his name ring from behind him, so he's spinning on his heel at the sound of it - Aqua asking him if he thinks they should move on and he can't keep his restless energy inside.

"No." He says with a bit of gusto in his voice. "What if someone around here has seen Terra? And and and - besides that guy has fox ears - and that guy has a tail! Everyone around here is so cool, Aqua - don't you wanna know more?"

Ven is excited about the variety of people here - including their ears and tails and non-human features - but it seems he doesn't notice at all the glares and hushed whispers.

Even if these people know where Terra is, it may not be for the best. Then again, knowing Terra, he probably didn't notice either.

With a sigh, she takes Ven's hand in her own, pulling him closer to her side with a gentle tug.

"I know he has a tail," she begins, "but I don't think he's very happy with us."

"What the hell do you two humans want?" a woman behind them snarls. "All your kind do is cause trouble. And you've done enough today alone."

She turns her head to look, hoping in the back of her mind Ven will choose his words carefully.

"We don't mean trouble," she replies, "We're-"

"GET OUT or we'll MAKE you!" the man next to the woman all but yells. "We don't want you here!"
