NOTES is a minimal shelving system designed by Brussels-based studio Julienrenaultobjects. NOTES shelves allow for creativity in composition and arrangement. Linear rhythms appear on the wall, with flowing melodies and vertical intervals. Predictable patterns or unexpected variations occur. Hanging freely from the wall, the oak becomes the center of attention and an object in itself, emphasizing its warmth and strength. The curved profile of the shelves creates a subtle graphic element that compliments any wall. Solid oak shelves and magnetic steel mounts ensure a high-quality system, both in terms of functionality and durability.

Aino Coffee Table is a minimal coffee table designed by Brooklyn-based studio Vonnegut/Kraft. It was a gesture that holds tension in its form that was pared down to this shape where the compression creates the cinching gesture. The two tone effect of the natural oak color paired with the black stain exacerbates the sculptural squeeze.

Acne Studios Stockholm is a minimalist showroom space located in Stockholm, Sweden, designed by ARQUITECTURA-G. A former bank with neoclassic Greco-Roman architecture is emptied and cleaned up to the essential. At the end of one axis, a new colonnade creates a new background in the main room. Pieces of furniture create a marble floor on top of the old marble. As a counterpoint, the light is technical and sharp. Lighting design Benoit Lalloz, furniture pieces by Max Lamb.

Go Today Shaire Salon is a minimal hair salon located in Tokyo, Japan, designed by CANOMA. This is a design is for a shared salon used by beauticians working as freelancers who lack their own beauty salon. Today, as the sharing economy is becoming normalized and a variety of different ways of working are being created, a lifestyle that is less oriented around ownership is also gradually becoming more common. For freelance beauticians, not owning their own shop has many benefits, such as more financial freedom, an increase in free time, and the ability to choose to work at their own discretion. However, it also means that they must acquire their own clients. Through repeatedly examining the texture of materials and the shape, color, and size of the elements used, and by providing the space with these aspects, the designers have consciously designed this salon as a place that complements the advantageous characteristics of being a freelancer.
