I love how frequently on this website when someone has a really weird response to something and you check their blog you find even crazier shit like there are so many geniunely bizarre people on here with such weird beliefs

also its like arguing that a character is a bad person already feels kind of useless and meaningless most of the time and then the idea of a bad mother is that but 100x more vague and subjective and its caked in misogyny

whenever a character is accused of being a bad mother when shes really just flawed and doing the best she can in her situation im torn between no! how dare you say that about her! and okay? so what??? would that make her a bad character? this is the calling your blorbo a war criminal affectionately website why would giving a kid a complex or two be an issue? (we all know why)

notts response to the group being condescending and speaking to her as though shes naive and powerless in her dynamic with caleb being to frame herself as a parent is like yeah! that IS what a woman who spent her entire childhood being demeaned and only escaped that by starting a family very young would say! obviously becoming an adult with agency = becoming a mother

god its been 3 weeks since i first heard it and still the sentence "caleb forced veth to give birth at a liveshow" makes me stop for a second and consider the odds im currently in a coma

so funny how not that long ago I was like "if veth died caleb would've gotten overly obsessed with taking care of her family to the point he moves in" and then it turned out she didnt even need to die for him to feel guilty enough to do that. he just needed to uh. force her to give birth

I remember seeing lucs eyes being blue used as evidence of the whole "veth views caleb as just a stand in for luc" thing. which okay. lets think about this for a second. veth has brown eyes so how are lucs blue? 🤔 do we think she might have anyone else she associates with blue eyes? 🤔 im not sure this is good evidence for the strictly maternal view of their dynamic. also very funny that his eyes arent even blue anymore. like this was not important to sam at all
