Noraâs trip from Castelia to Striaton had already hit a snag. After an unusually hot Unovan summer, a dangerous blizzard was forecast, leaving the girl and her team to travel on foot. She kept Nickel out for company, battling any weak looking trainers on the way. They ran into some trouble when a strange looking trainer dressed in a uniform with a black, white and blue âPâ emblem offered them berries, telling them how it would keep them warm in the falling temperature. Not recognising the berries, Nora could only assume they were Unova natives and foolishly accepted, feeding some to Nickel. The Mankey quickly became sluggish and thatâs when the grunt attempted to strike. Nora and her Aerodactyl took out the perpetratorâs Pokemon extremely easily before the trainer gave the grunt a few punches of her own. Nursing bloody knuckles, Nora slung Nickel over her back and broke into a jog towards the nearest town. Entering Nimbasa City, Nora frantically looked around for someone, anyone but the streets were scarce as snow continued to cover the ground. Finally, she spotted a short dark-haired man. Hoisting the limp Nickel up her back, Nora called out to the person before crunching through the snow to them.
â You need to help me, â she pleaded between pants, â Somethingâs happened to my Mankey. I think heâs poisoned, I gave him all the last of my antidotes but heâs still sick. Please! â
Shopping was perfect in weather like this. No one was out and about taking his products! His shop, on the other hand, was absolutely packed to the brim. It was unfortunate, because heâd have to resupply all the toys on the shelves due to the amount of babies and playful adults that had to be housed there for the time being. His ranch was covered in snow, so it was unsafe for them.
Luckily, despite the weather, some shops were still open. Particularly the ones that sold all the food he needed for his Pokemon. His hands were filled. Perhaps that was a bad decision, as itâd slow him down. But there were still some pretty good deals. As no one could get out to actually buy anything, they lowered the prices for him, causing Osvaldo to buy more.
Packed down with a scarf and heavy coat, the full-armed male trudged through the snow, heading back to his shop/home. Well, that was until heâd heard someone calling out for him. Or, at least, he assumed they were calling for him.
What someone was doing out in this weather was beyond him. Unless they were like him in the aspect of wanting a good deal. But, they were headed his way. It wasnât until he heard what the female was saying that he actually reacted.
âOh dear,â He spoke, setting his groceries on the ground. âHere, Iâll take him. My ranch is just outside the town. If you could grab my groceries, Iâll do my best to get him better.â Perhaps he should have clarified that he was a breeder. Either way. âOr just follow me, itâs not too far away.â
