a new chapter.

   He was not much bigger than me maybe about 15inches or so. I watched him while he took an order from a guest. It was the perfect moment to look at him up close without feeling weird. It was the first time that i recognised his short blonde hair. On the sides it was a little bit darker while the top was more like a platinum blonde. His eyes where blue but not a blurred or washed-out blue.. no. more like a cold turqoise blue. Everytime he looked at me he seemed so cold and indifferented. I always watched the corners of his mouth. I don’t know why but somehow I was always hoping for a little twitch, just a little reaction. I told him that today they got a math whiz in their shift. I smiled immediately and watched his face to perceive any kind of reaction like a child hoped for snow. He smiled. but he didn’t looked me in the eyes for too long. It was more like a short look and then he looked somewhere else and smiled. I am still wondering what he was thinking of. Why didn’t he looked me in the eyes ? The whole shift I was always smiling when I talked just in hope he would smile too. Today I should learn from him how to make a Cappuccino. He showed me how to do it two times and the third time i should do it myself he said. First you have to make an Espresso and then you put the warm milk froth firstly slower then faster into the Espresso and voilà : Your Cappuccino is finished. and I ..totally messed it up and we both started laughing about it. When he was standing next to me i could literally feel his warmth eventhough we weren’t touching. Everything inside me was like: You need to get closer to him. But reality said I couldn’t. Sometimes when I am in moments like this I am wondering if people feel the same. If he felt the same.
