as it currently stands, this blog is dead. I have nothing keeping me here anymore. I may pop in if the mood truly strikes me, but it won’t be often. I may return one day for realsies, I had a lot planned for this blog that I still want to do, but between my dislike for the game and my dislike for my characters lore, because, lets be real, Irelia is Ionia, I just can’t write for her anymore.

but a champion’s sexuality is never really suggested / implied / directly said for the most part , so i don’t think it’s ‘twisting’ the character around if you’re not really changing anything that was/n’t stated . you can assume any sexuality if it’s not explicitly stated tbh .

dulled;; but at the same time it’s not right to assume a character is gay (i’m gonna use gay for the sake of discussion, not trying to exclude sexualities \ o /) “just because”, especially if the odds of the character being gay is not high at all. For instance, Noxian nobles and high ranking individuals value the idea of the house, the bloodline, so someone like Darius is far less likely to be gay rather than someone like Ekko, raised without such ideals. 

I have a very simple view. LGBTQA+ in League. They exist in Runeterra. That’s fine. But when it comes to the characters we are working with, it’s not right to twist them around to make them fall under the umbrella. I’m not saying the community doesn’t need more representation, but making false idols is not the way to go about it.
