Foiled so soon. Jem glanced at the door, half-expecting the magenta whirlwind to come storming through, then set about responding again.

The magenta whirlwind, it seemed, was not storming through any doors yet. Moreover rolling onto his back, instead, trying to get comfortable whilst texting.

Jem finally managed to draw his attention from the boxwhen his phone vibrated, providing useful and needed distraction.

The offer was a tempting one; but Kamanosuke knew, regardless of whether or not Jem was present, the therapy session would grind at his temper. Jem was in his dorm; which usually meant he was in bed. By logic, that meant he was sick, anyway.

Kamanosuke rolled onto his front; steadying his phone in front of him and punching out a reply, brow furrowed in quiet concentration.

Noiz sat against the wall, playing with his thumbs to pass the time. He’d been waiting a few minutes for his “boss”, who’d agreed to meet up with him to wreak a bit of havoc. Cause some trouble. Maybe make some people wet themselves a bit.

Unmistakable figure? What the fuck is that supposed to mean, Noiz? You calling him fat? You referring to those child-bearing hips? Because I, as his narrator, would understand. 

Not in this city, there isn’t. They all seem pretty disposable to me.

We haven’t gotten any income from it yet. Right now, it looks like we’ve got a defense squad for that silver boy.

Because we've only had the damn thing going for a few days, have a little patience.
