Today was Motherâs Day, usually that day where the mother, herself, was spoiled. Â Gabby was never one much for âthe normâ, so she took it up on herself to spoil Brandon some, well more, spoil âthemâ since they really hadnât had that good quality time to themselves, what between crazy moves and appointments and the like. Â Besides, it wasnât like Gabby wanted to scare or stress Brandon out any more than he had initially been. Â It was a lot to swallow, twins, really ridiculously fast pregnancy, and now a brand new relationship? Â
By the time that Gabby had woken up that morning, Brandon was out and about somewhere. Â Normally, Gabby might try to track him down with a message, just to actually acknowledge him, even in the crazier days. Â This time, however, she decided to take her time sending him a text. Â She yawned and stretched a bit, and she let the fabric of the bedsheet slip from her body to reveal her bronzed, slender nude body, well slender, other than her curved abdomen, that seemed to grow a little each passing day. Â She had always preferred to sleep in the nude. Â She simply clothed herself with lingerie in the bedroom for the sheer teasing enjoyment of Brandon taking it off. Â For the sake of not disturbing others when she ventured outside the room, she put on a silk robe over her body, tied it shut and slipped her feet into slippers before heading to the bathroom to clean up a bit before heading to the kitchen to put her plan into action. Â
Gabby emerged from the bathroom, ready to undergo the little mission. Â Armed with a reusable shopping bag, her first stop was the kitchen, where she first took it upon herself to get something to eat. Â She rubbed her stomach slightly, as if soothing any activity going on in there before she raided the fridge. Â Her cravings were certainly unique from time-to-time. Â This time, she re-emerged from the fridge with cheese and ham, and even snatched a can of beans from the pantry, which she heated up. Â she diced up the ham and cheese into the pot which heated up the beans like some cheesy, ham chili. Â She then reached for the hot sauce and added a liberal amount, along with selected seasonings before the masterpiece was done. Â She poured the entire contents of the pot into a bowl and put the pot into the sink, and merely put water in it. Â Being, well Gabby, she wasnât even bothered to wash the pot. Â Thatâs what the hired people should do. Â It wasnât like she was here on her free will. Â She put some sour cream into the chili concoction, and ate the entire contents within ten minutes or so. Â She hesitated, then cleaned up after herself. Â Damnit, what was it with her and cleaning lately? Â This wasnât even her place! Â Moving along, she went on to grab a few things from the kitchen, before she ventured back to the room. Â
In the room, she reached for the few somethings she had bought for this specific occasion.  Candles, a tin of gourmet cookies, a box of fine chocolates, a bottle of wine, and a bottle of sparkling cider, and some fluted glasses she already had.  Perfect, all she had to do was set all this up in the room and set the mood up some.  She made a platter of cookies and chocolates, which she placed on the bedside table, and she then decided to work on her a bit, put on something cute and lacy that he could take off whenever he wanted, along with the garter.  A little work on her hair, brushing her teeth (again - as she was really particular about always keeping her mouth clean, especially lately), and doing her makeup, and a spritz of fine perfume later, and she was definitely ready for him.  Only a short text later, she let the sheer fabric of the lingerie robe fall off a single shoulder, and she sat at the edge of the bed, waiting for him⌠Knowing Brandon, after a text like that, he would know exactly where to go to find herâŚ
Motherâs day was not a holiday he enjoyed, all it did was remind him that he was stuck without a mother of his own. The only reason he didnât spend the day our drinking or doing something else that was not âmother approvedâ was to not give his grandmother a headache. He made sure to keep her happy that day and thank her for taking him and his sister in. He had to admit, he felt bad that he couldnât spend motherâs day with her; he only hoped that his sister was able to fill in the shoes.Â
He needed to distract himself, even more so since he couldnât contact his family in any way. He needed to focus on the mother-to-be, the mother of his future children. Sure she wasnât a mother yet in the technical sense, but she was still one in his mind. He knew that women almost always feel and become a mother once they find out theyâre pregnant, so it felt like the right thing to do to give her some sort of celebration. Usually he would go out and get a gift, but obviously he couldnât do that since they were on some island. Instead, he stalked the library, fishing through the titles until he found at least one book on child care. It was stupid, but it was better than nothing, seeing how they both were pretty clueless on how to raise a child-- at least he was. He even managed to riffle through his things before leaving the room and found something that Gabby might like-- something he never thought he would give away.Â
He thought that his girlfriend was still asleep, seeing how she usually texted him once she woke up and he wasnât in the room there with her. When he got the text from her, he didnât expect it to be so forward, not that he was complaining. Just because she was pregnant didnât mean they couldnât still have some fun, right? He didnât take his sweet time getting back to the room. He hurried up and rushed down to where their room was, opening the door to see his girlfriend waiting for him.
