Losing her I drank. I drank to bring her back because I couldn't have her any other way. I drank because I couldn't hurt you when I was drunk. I drank away the pain. But when I stopped she didn't come back and neither did you. So I stayed in this room avoiding the hurt in your eyes. 

Because I don't know what to do. I just know I'm not someone my dad would have wanted.

My mom still doesn't know she's dead.

Everything is shaking. My hands. My bones. My world.

It's not just the withdrawals. It's not just the baby that's crying in the other room.

I'm letting her cry because she's not really there. The doctors say the withdrawals are making me see her and once their done she'll finally be quiet. They say I should let her cry.
