GUYS. I need to share an adorable happening with you. I've been joking around with my boss about wanting to color my hair purple. It's an issue because the employee manual prohibits hair of an 'unnatural color'. I sent my boss a picture of a girl with hair that was dark purple, so sitting on the edge of looking dark brown/black and asked his opinion about whether or not I could get away with it. We joked back and forth a bit before moving on and I didn't think much of it. I got a text from my boss today saying the following: "I am happy to say that your purple hair is approved! It needs to be as dark or darker than the pick you sent me, but I wanted to give you a heads up in case you wanted to get it done before you leave." After I asked if he was serious and if he'd really gotten approval for it, this is the next text I got: "I just checked with HR, I want you to be happy at work and if that means purple hair... Then purple hair you shall have!" ;_______; my boss.
