hellooww i have an au where all of the flowers from deltarune are instead monsters in the undertale universe. im working on drawing them rn but in the meantime heres what i wrote for my friends, in case anyone is interested in reading:
Seth's is some kind of newt-like monster. their idol, instead of berdly, is alphys, and they manage to land a role as her apprentice. intentionally or not they stumble upon the true lab—possibly alphys tells them the truth about it in hopes that they can help, if they manage to gain enough of her trust, maybe she thinks they can help—and they are fucking Terrified at first of all of the amalgamates.
And then they realize that theres a little girl down there.
Terrified for her life, they take it upon themself to "rescue" her, only to realize that the amalgamates are actually chill? and shes just playing touys with them.
Aqua is a little spider orphan (possibly some kind of relative to muffet) who just wandered into the true lab one day and has been living there ever since. The amalgamates are her frands :) and now seth is too YAY!!!! they become very close friends and seth tries to teach her everything theyve been learning under alphys, including their newly discovered fascination for the power of determination. They are very. *very* interested in determination. Theyre also a regular highschooler. As regular as one can be in this situation.
okay. Orange and green live in snowdin. green is an ice cube fella, think ice-e if it was an actual monster but not the buff one lol. they look like ice-e. i thought itd be fun, i wanted them to work at grillby's place cooking food, its fun to have an Ice cube monster and a fire monster in the same room wtf are they THINKINGGG. but it also makes sense for them to live in snowdin because! Cold! yay! but yeah they work there at grillbys. obviously they are very close with orange, she comes in for orange juice and apple slices and tells green all about her adventures and green nods along and claps and thumbs up at her. Joys!!!
orange does not change appearance, she remains a tiny mouse thing. However. Instead of believing she is a human she is convinced she is a skeleton. she becomes very close with papyrus and sees him as her big brother. papyrus also is convinced shes a skeleton and just thinks her bones havent grown in yet and thats why shes all furry and fleshy. He teaches her how to fight and cook and do puzzles and you can imagine exactly how that goes. They yell at sans together and such. orange is just papyrus's little sister <3
i can also imagine green and sans getting along. theyd probably talk a lot sans just somehow understands exactly what green says just by staring at their face i dont know. do u see my vision yes you do
Blue and yellow are the ones ive thought abt the Most (obviously do you know who i am)
blue is a butterfly-like monster, hes the youngest in a family of pretty well-known and wealthy painters who live in waterfall but are known all over the underground. hes not disliked by his family per se, but he decided that he wanted to be a dancer instead of a painter and they are not good at hiding their immense disappointment in him. Ironic, considering how much they preach about how art is beautiful in how it allows artists to express themselves, but they dont like the kind of art that blue chose to express himself through.
yellow is a dog cow boy thing !! Hes also got quite a large family, though theyre a bit more on the poorer side, and they live in hotland. hes the oldest of all of his siblings, his family owns a farm and raises whatever kinds of animals monsters would raise lol i know theres a snail farm in waterfall. he decided that he wanted to be a performer (hashtag cowboy shows) and his family is very very supportive of him, but he feels awful that he isnt there to help out around the farm with how busy he's gotten in his career.
blue and yellow originally met when they unintentionally attended each other's performances, and then they just kept showing up to watch the other every chance they could. Started talking after the shows and became good friends and eventually lovers after that. They both end up moving out of their families homes so they can focus on their passion for performance (which blue had a much easier time doing than yellow, you can probably imagine)
flowery ummm. flowery is the one ive thought of the least... I want him to be part of asgore's royal guard thats for sure, my brother brought up the idea of him being one of the dog monsters and tbh i think thats a really fun concept. Hes still a fucking anime boy though he does NOT take his job seriously and yet he is frustratingly good at it. he is not as op as he is in deltarune obviously but he should not be as unscathed as he is for how little armor he wears. Friend suggested he be a golden retriever and i cant NOT do that
