Many of you won’t know this, but I make jewellery alongside my day job, which is TV production. This means that sometimes I get up mega early and put in a few of hours of making before the day job starts. More tools ⚒️😍 The left mandrel and the ring sizers are some of the first pieces of equipment I bought - mandatory items for any jeweller. They were cheap and cheerful but I’m slowly building up my collection of tools to include ones that will last - like the Wheatsheaf mandrel in the middle. It goes up to a size Z+16, so it you have larger fingers, I can make you a big ring! This is my bench peg. Most jewellers will have a version of this, and it’s used to pierce, drill and support all the fantastic pieces of jewellery we make. It is also a place to accidentally bang your head with great force whilst picking up something you’ve dropped. Every jeweller I know will have done this (several times!)
