do you consider yourself an extrovert or an introvert, and why?
i used to have trouble with this question — mainly because i’ve always liked hanging out with the people that i love, but perhaps i misunderstood what those terms meant. i’m one hundred percent an introvert, in my way to see the world and connect with those around me, how i perceive certain situations... and i’m a homebody. i find comfort in stillness, silence, solitude. those three s’s i always like to mention.
what motivates you to work harder?
right now? my family. more specifically, daisy and lily. might sound cliché, but they’re the most important people in my life, and everything i do, i do it for their well-being. not only working as an actor, but working on myself. i wanna be the best version of the man i am.
what fictional character can you relate to most, and why?
i always saw bits and pieces of myself in the little prince, as silly as that may sound. of course it’s a highly popular book, but the level of wander in which he navigated the world reminded me of my own occasional naivety as a kid. i truly go on for hours and hours on why, but it’s that spark of innocence, and the specific ways in which he faces the circumstances.
how would your friends describe you?
hopefully loyal, hardworking... a little bit of a dork would also be accepted. i like to think they know i’m a no bullshit type of guy.
what is a relationship deal-breaker for you - romantic and platonic?
lies, deceit, distrust. it was one of the very first few ground rules lily and i talked about when we started getting into this territory. if we’re not gonna be honest with each other, then it’s not worth it — and it’s gonna be a huge waste of time for the both of us. it applies to both my relationship and my friendships. lying gets us nowhere, frankly.
lily. i’d also say my mom, just ‘cause she’s my mom.
