Alright, so like 99.9% of us, I will be logging off of Tumblr because of the porn ban. So, before you log off, remember some key details
Log off for 2-7 days, not just one. If everyone logs out for one day, the revenues will not be that damaged. It will barely leave a dent. Logging off for an extended period of time could cause more of an economic nightmare
Do not delete the app. Considering that Apple removed it (causing this in the first place), it will be very difficult to get back if deleted
Make noise elsewhere. If we only log out, then next to no impact is made. Express the anger on other platform, like Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc. If we say how fucked up this is, it will gain momentum. Sure, the execs may not realize it, but millions of others will. If big enough, then we might get noticed
If worst comes to worse, there are other platforms for content. To be honest, there is a high chance that this could fail. If it does, there are other places to post on. For art and photos, places like Instagram, deviantart, and other places are the best option. Videos? Youtube may be possibly dying, but it is still a great place to post videos. Fanfiction? Ao3, fanfiction.net, even the dreaded wattpad exist for this purpose. Just remember, there is a place to post that are not just here.
Finally DO NOT GIVE UP. It may take months, even years to make them realize that the adult band is bad. That Nazis and bots will still exist after this. That they can remove the kiddie porn and the bots in a manner that does not leave millions of artists without a job. But during this time, DO NOT STOP speaking out against this. If it becomes a lost cause, then the band may never be lifted
