Million dollar idea for an alternate ending to the Backrooms movie

Clark leaves the Backrooms to find that the Captain stole his identity while he was gone and completely turned his life around in the span of a month. The furniture store is now a thriving cornerstone of the local community. Line around the block to get in. The Captain stole Clark's beautiful ex-wife and they go to couples' counseling now. The Captain gave her the motivation to become an esteemed lawyer. Everyone loves the new Clark. Clark keeps trying to reintegrate into his own life but nobody believes that he's the real Clark. Whole time the Captain still looks like That. Never took the pirate costume off

Someone joked that actually Rapture is on the other side of the road SpongeBob lives on, they just never pan over there. So in the moment I very quickly made this

We then couldn’t stop laughing about the concept of the entire plot of Bioshock happening in the background of SpongeBob but it’s never addressed, and that even though the Bioshock story is completely linear, the SpongeBob episodes are still episodic.
