NO ONE'S SON.

                    THE SILENCE STRETCHED ON    for  what  seemed  like  forever,   but  the  completely  weird  thing  was,   it  didn’t  bother  him  at  all.   he  felt  comfortable  sitting  outside  sally’s  window  with  her,   saying  and  doing  nothing  but  enjoying  each  other’s  presence  under  the  stars.   though,   maybe  it  wouldn’t  KILL  them  to  shake  things  up  a  little.   what’s  the  point  of  being  robin  if  you  couldn’t  take  pretty  girls  out  for  some  well-deserved  fun?   with  a  smile  tugging  at  the  corner  of  his  lips,   he  extinguished  the  butt  of  his  cigarette  against  the  railing  of  the  fire  escape,   lifting  one  foot  against  the  railing  to  push  himself  closer  to  the  girl   (and  her  sparkling  brown  eyes  and  pretty  smile).

                                          ❛    don’t  ya  ever  get  bored  in  this  stuffy  ol’  apartment?   maybe  you  should  let  me  take  ya  out  for  a  night  on  the  town.   you  can  even  ride  on  my  ‘cycle!   i  gotta  spare  helmet  with  your  name  on  it.   ---whadd’ya  say?    ❜

                                     ❛ onlyyy as much as i’ve told you. --which is a lot. so, yeah. ❜

            everything about sally was infectious. everything from her bright, unrelenting tidal wave of loving emotions to the quirk of her perfect, smiling lips. anything she felt, he felt it twice as much. everything she did, he found himself doing as well. there wasn’t an end to how she made him feel. even just seconds after crawling through her window into her bedroom, her happiness and love washed over him, cleansing him of whatever had angered him on patrol. being his regular angry-at-the-world self just wasn’t an option around her. she washed it all away with her warm embraces and doting words. if he had a soulmate, if his life had been missing a single piece of it’s puzzle, she would be it. she was his sun, bright and warm. everything fell right into place when she was around.

            he didn’t care if he was wrapped around her little finger, he loved it. ( and truthfully, he wouldn’t have it any other way. )

            his lips brushed a pattern up from her shoulder all the way to her lips, kissing her long and sweet. affection surged into his veins through every touch of her fingertips, sparks igniting over his skin and bringing him to life. he brought her closer, fingers splayed across each side of her hips, touching her like she was made out of delicate, priceless, one of a kind porcelain. closer and closer, he couldn’t get enough of her, not being able to bring himself to separate even an inch of distance between them. for as long as he lived, he would never want to let her go.

                                 god, he loved her. he would never love anyone the way he loved her.
