briefly coming back to this blog to say my supergirl thoughts, SPOILERS BELOW!!!!!!!!!!!!
i really liked the film but it didn't live up to the comic, i think my expectations were higher because of it, as my brother who hasn't read it loved the film
i thought the argo city scenes were the best of the film, really emotional and i could not stop crying
milly alcock is a fantastic supergirl and david krumholtz was great as zor-el, they did a really good job with the kryptonese too
and it was great to see corensupes again
i think the rest of the characters were pretty meh
i don't know why lobo had to be there, although i do think momoa is perfect for the role
the kryptonite arrow scene where lobo had to save her, i was like 'seriously?', did not like that at all
i also hated that last needle drop, awful choice
but by far the worst part was the lack of colour, so disappointed
i did absolutely love all the different alien designs and languages, they added a lot of character to the film
despite all the negatives i still liked it and i will watch it again
