part one : this one will kinda make sense without reading the first part but it’ll but it’ll just be better if you do. okay here we go ah

It was 1am. You couldn’t sleep, but you didn’t wanna take out your phone in case Katsuki was a sensitive sleeper. He was on the floor and you felt bad, but also didn’t want to make it weird by offering to share the bed.

He was awake too. Neither of you know eachother was a wake and neither wanted to risk waking the other up. He flipped his pillow over to the cold side. You didn’t know if it was an unconscious thing or if we was really awake.

“Katsuki?” You said, sort of quiet, but loud enough for him to hear if he was up. He turned around to face you. The room was dark, but it felt like his red eyes were glowing, burning holes into you. You tell him to go back to bed because you assumed you had woke him up.

“Im already up, what do you want?” He asked you annoyed, but truthfully he wanted nothing more than for you to want something because he was so bored.

You shuffle in your blankets before finally deciding to just sit up, “Cant sleep.” You state. He keeps staring at you. “What? Imagining me naked?” You can’t help but make perv jokes whenever he looks at you.

“Stop making everything weird. I can’t sleep either, it’s just dark as hell in this room so I can’t see shit.” He spits. You don’t move, so he gets up and turns on the light. “Ew freak what if i was naked!” You whisper scream.

“Stop! You’re so weird.” He hisses back at you.

The joke is that when you were getting introduced to the class, Denki pointed back and both Mineta and Bakugou and said, “That’s Mineta.” Of course he didn’t know Bakugou was standing there too. All day long the girls told you about how weird and perverted Mineta was. You thought they were talking about Bakugou, but later you found out they weren’t. It’s still just super funny to you though. Katsuki hates it.

He goes to sit back on the floor, but you scoot over and pat the spot beside you on the bed. “Are you gonna try to kiss me?” He mocks.

You feel his weight press down on the mattress. He looks tired. Calm. He looks calm. Well, calmer than usual. “Stop looking at me, freak.” He says, waving his hands in front of your eyes.

You keep looking at him because you can’t stop thinking about how he says he cries for no reason too sometimes. You can’t imagine him crying. Obviously you knew he has emotions like everyone else, but you just couldn’t imagine it.

“So you cry for no reason sometimes?” You question. He stares at you. More of a glare. An annoyed glare. “Yes. I do. And what about it? I’d still kick anyone’s ass at any given time.”

You hold your hands up in defense. You weren’t trying to make fun of him. It was just interesting. “Cool.” You say as genuine as possible.

Another glare. “Yeah obviously.” Classic Katsuki. This is supposed to be a heartwarming moment, but this man will never miss a chance to flaunt his confidence.

Silence

More silence

The air turns off abruptly, making the room even more quiet. He sighs loudly and throws himself back into the bed so that his legs are hanging off but his top half his laying vertically. “Why do you wanna become a hero Y/N?” He asks. It sounds aggressive and angry, but he genuinely wants to know. Sort of like a judge of character.

You actually don’t know. Why wouldn’t you wanna be a hero? Saving people seems cool, you guess. “Why do you wanna be #1?” You ask, switching the conversation back to him.

He pauses and stares at you in a sorta disgusted way, “It’s less of a ‘i want to be number one’ and more of a ‘i’m going to be number one,’” Pause. “It’s a fact. I’m working to meet my goal and I will end up on top. Fact.” He continues.

A/N: honestly idk where i was going with this... i write them at like 2am when i’m bored. enjoy this though! i might end up making this a series tho🤭 titled “a dumb little bakugou drabble” are we rocking w the idea or no?? i think it’d be kinda fun because i have a lot of ideas. it would be sort of like a slow burn type thing with angst because that’s fun.. should i?! please comment or something telling me if i should lmao.

as aggressive as he is, i think katsuki is able to comfort ppl when they’re sad, if he cares enough . i don’t think he’d be like “aw baby lemme get you tea” though. but he would care enough to try to make someone he loves feel better

He could hear you from the hallways. He could hear the sounds of you trying to catch your breath. He didn’t know it was crying though. He thought you were laughing.

His first instinct was to make fun of you so he bursted in and yelled, “Shut up y/n, some of us are trying to sleep. Nothing is that fu-” He cut himself off at the sight of you. The sight of you frantically wiping your tears and looking up at him.

“Sorry.” You said with forced laughter. He had never seen you cry before. In fact he had never seen you show any emotion other than excitement or anger. You two were constantly making fun of eachother and your peers often called you “Bakugou’s clone” to which you would reply with saying he’s your clone.

He stood in the doorway in shock. He didn’t know if he should just leave you alone or- Frankly he felt bad. Really bad. He just told you to shut up while you cried in the comfort of your own room.

“The hell are you looking at Katsuki?” You choked out. You tried to sound confident but your voice broke mid sentence. Katsuki. You always called him by his first name because you knew how much it annoyed him since he never said you guys were friends.

You are friends though. And he does care about you. A lot.

He looks down the hallway to make sure nobody is there then enters your room, closing the door behind him. “I knew you had a crush on me. Pack it up Mineta.” You joked, but the way your voice sounded hurt him because he could hear the sadness.

Walking over to you he said, “Oh you got jokes huh?” You rolled your eyes. He sat himself on your bed next to you, “Don’t make it weird you freak. What’s wrong.” He spit out.

You stared at him. He glared. Trust me, he’s doing the best he can to comfort you right now.

He sighs and gives in, “Y/N just tell me why the hell you’re crying. Do I need to fight someone? Did you fight someone? Do we need to fight someone? Two for two type thing? I’ll jump whoever, but they’ll probably back out once they hear I’m coming.”

He laugh a little under your breath. Truth is you don’t even know why you were crying. Tears just started falling and you got sad for no reason.

“Eh. Happens to me too. It’ll pass.” Katsuki responds with a slightly less rough tone than usual.

Your mouth falls open, “‘me too?’ Wow the ‘Lord Explosion Murder’ cries? Who knew?” You mock him. “I swear to god if you tell anyone, I will kill you.” He spits back.

You smile in amusement. He’s glad you’re feeling better, but your eyes are puffy and red. “What are you staring at weirdo?” You ask. He cocks his head in the other direction quickly after realizing he was staring at you for too long.

You sort of just sit in silence for a while. It isn’t super awkward really. It’s comforting just having someone be there with you.

Katsuki is the one to break to silence, “Okay well, I’ll let you train with me tomorrow morning, okay?” Thats his way of asking you to train with him without destroying his pride.

You lazily agree as you see him look around your room. You make another Mineta joke and accuse him of looking for your underwear.

“Geez y/n I don’t wanna get in your pants, I’m just looking for a blanket.” He agrues.

~Izuku Midoriya~

Iida dropped the envelope on your desk and said, “This was given to me by Midoriya, to give to you”

It was packaged so cute. You turned around to look at him but he was facing the floor and his face was so red.

You open it quietly so that Mr. Aizawa doesn’t notice. You can feel the butterflies in your stomach. This was quite literally the cutest thing you have ever laid eyes on.

You couldn’t decide whether you wanted to respond in person or write a note back. Which would be less awkward for him? He’d be a nervous wreck anyway.

You took the little sticker off and stuck it to your uniform whole you waited to talk to him after class.

He was looking down the whole time so he didn’t notice you come up behind him. “Oh! H-hi y/n. I was just heading to my n- my next class.” He stuttered.

He’s so nervous, it’s starting to rub off on you. “I got your note.” You told him excitedly. He was so red he looked like he was ab to pass out, “Oh- um. You don’t- you can just ig-ignore that.” He’s doing that awkward smiling thing.

Why does he have to make this so much more awkard than it needs to be. You take a little folded paper out your pocket that read the words, “I like you too”

He reads it in silence.... then passes out

~Katsuki Bakugou~

You jumped a little as Katsuki aggressively slammed the wrinkled paper on your desk.

You look back at him to sorta ask what it is but he’s fake paying attention to the front.

Okay... you open up the paper and see his messy handwriting. A slight smile appears on your face. Wow the Katsuki Bakugou wants to train with you. Of course he would though, you’re quirk is so cool.

You turn around to him and give a thumbs up. He acknowledges you by staring directly into your eyes, but doesn’t give any sort of direct response.

When class is over he goes up to you and says, “Don’t tell anyone I wrote a stupid letter to you. The idiots convinced me to. I could ask you up front if I wanted to.” Don’t worry dude, nobody thought it was your idea.

(prob gonna make a part three of what your guys first “date” would be like ahh)

~Shoto Todoroki~

You see the neatly folded envelope on your desk.

You turn around to him and he gives a half smile thinking you already read it.

Iida’s voice rings in the back talking about how much of a “lady’s man” he is. Confused, you open up the paper. Aw.

After class he’d make such an effort to be near you, but it’d be a little awkward since he isn’t super big with feelings.

~Izuku Midoriya~

His mom convinced him to do it because that’s how they did it “back in the day”

Iida was too serious to help and Shoto was.. well Shoto.

He’d stress out about it so much.

What paper should be get? Should e use marker? Pen? Colored pencil? What if his handwriting is too messy? maybe he should just type it?

So much paper wasted because he couldn’t find the right words.

Here’s what he ended with:

“Dear Y/N Hey Y/N, I hope this isn’t weird, but I have a crush on you. You don’t have to like me back, my mom I just wanted to tell you. Please disregard this, throw it away, and never speak of this again if you dont feel the same way. Xo Love From Midoriya

He didn’t know how to package it. He didn’t want to do too much.

He ended up just neatly putting it in an envelope with a little pink heart sticker on the front.

He has Iida hand it to you while passing out worksheets to the class

The class is practically drowning in sweat and this point. He’s so nervous

~Katsuki Bakugou~

We all know that realistically Katsuki would never do this. It’d be rare for him to even develop a crush.

But he had one on you. He didn’t tell anyone, he just waited for it to go away, but Mina found out and told Bakusquad.

“Write a letter! Please Bakugou I will literally fight Kirishima if you do!” Mina chanted excitedly.

Kirishima was so excited to. He forced Bakugou to sit in his chair and write it.

“I’m not gonna embarass myself just because you dumbasses think this will work.” He yelled to them.

Mina, Kirishima, Sero, and Denki all wrote individual ones and tried to make it sound like him.

“I DONT TALK LIKE THAT!” He yelled as he crumbled up their letters.

He ends up just writing, “Your quirk is almost as cool as mine. Let’s train together at 7.”

He slaps the crumbled up paper on your desk as he goes he sit down and doesn’t look at you the whole time.

It wasnt a whole confession, but coming from Bakugou, it was more than enough

“I have feelings for you. It’s okay if you dont. I understand. -Shoto”

It was on regular lined paper but he cut it out super small so that there was no blank space.

He wouldn’t package it. Just fold it in half.

He would just be standing there or walk into the room quietly and you’d jump.

No matter how many times you assure him that it’s fine, he’d start texting you everytime he’s about to walk into the room or tap on your shoulder.

-Scenario-

He walked into your room without saying anything while you were in the bathroom. He just laid on your bed waiting for you to be finished.

When you came back into the room you jumped a little then laughed, “Oh shoto you scared me.”

He’d look so worried, “Oh. I’m sorry. That wasn’t my intention.” He feels bad because he thinks he like scared you for real for real.

The next day on your way back to your room you get a text “Shoto: hey i’m in your room on the bed right now.”

He loves it. It’s so funny. His favorite pass time is to scare you and then laugh while making fun of you.

He constantly hides behind your door so you jump when you see him.

Katsuki loves watching horror movies with you, but he doesn’t tell you they’re horror movies because it’s more funny that way.

You know those videos were it’s like all ca then there’s a jump scare.. yeah he loves sending you those.

-Scenario-

You were walking back to your room with a bag of chips.

When you close the door behind you, Katsuki is standing there with a clown mask.

Your body takes a screenshot and you drop your chips

This man cannot hold on his laughter for the life of him. “It’s not funny.” You say annoyed because he does this all the time and you still fall for it.

He calms down, puts his hand on your shoulder then starts speaking calmly, “Y/N I’m sorry for scaring you. I swear it’ll never hap- OH WHAT’S THAT?!”

You literally fall to the ground from shock and see him above you losing his mind with laughter.
