Okay.. so this will be my personal MUST read books in the classical genre!🤍

1. "Pride and Prejudice": A classic romance novel by Jane Austen set in 19th-century England, focusing on the spirited Elizabeth Bennet and her relationship with the enigmatic Mr. Darcy. It's an amazing book!

2. "White Nights": A novella by Fyodor Dostoevsky exploring themes of loneliness and love as a nameless protagonist forms a fleeting bond with a young woman during the summer nights in St. Petersburg. This one was definitely my favourite.. it gave me a lot to think about and reflect on.

3. "War and Peace": Leo Tolstoy's epic masterpiece set against the backdrop of the Napoleonic Wars, following the lives of aristocratic families in Russia and delving into themes of history, fate, and love. Though it was a hard read.. it was definitely worth it!

4. "The Brothers Karamazov": Fyodor Dostoevsky's novel examines the moral struggles of the Karamazov brothers—Dmitry, Ivan, and Alyosha—touching on themes of faith, free will, and the nature of evil. This is the last book I read, actually.. and it was breathtaking.. though it took me a long time to read it.

5. "Crime and Punishment": Dostoevsky's psychological thriller follows the story of Raskolnikov, a former student who commits a murder and grapples with guilt and redemption in St. Petersburg. My first classical read! This book has a special place in my heart.. and it is definitely a MUST read.🤍🤍

6. "Metamorphosis": Franz Kafka's surreal novella tells the story of Gregor Samsa, who wakes up one day transformed into a giant insect, exploring themes of alienation and existentialism. More on this one in my previous post!

"Metamorphosis" by Franz Kafka, a masterpiece of existential literature that delves into the depths of human psyche and societal alienation. This book gave me a lot to think about.. and I genuinely loved reading it!
