what a week… well, I’ll share some good things: I got a full score on my art history midterm, and my last midterm is this friday! after that I’m planning to have a proper self care day. I haven’t baked in a while… maybe I should make some strawberry cheesecake? I’ll post pictures if I do 😋what are your favorite desserts?

got some new tombow pens yesterday and wanted to try one out so i switched up the normal grey to a green :)

21.02.21 / i went on a bit of an impromptu adventure yesterday. i found a local bookstore with resident cats and it’s quite literally the perfect place! they have a corner where they sell fully wrapped books so it’s like you’re going on a “blind book date” if you purchase one. and to top it all off, i got macarons for afternoon tea. how was your weekend? it has been a while since i posted. i’ve missed you! let’s catch up ♡

Not gonna lie, I never thought I’d miss uni and studying this much. I think I just miss feeling useful, learning, seeing friends every day, and having some kind of purpose and goals to achieve. Right now I’m just in a kind of limbo that I’m not really enjoying. Yes, being home is great but I just feel lost and in need of some guidance and help. Not gonna lie, I wish I could just hop on a plane and start a new life somewhere else, Mamma Mia style. Like nobody is willing to hire me and I certainly don’t have the income to become a freelancer just yet so that’s stressful. Anyway, I guess I’ll figure it out eventually, or not, who knows. In the meantime, you can find me reading, drawing, watching Netflix, sending out CVs, and having one mental breakdown a day. Hope you’re all well.

finals began on monday which means i’ll be sat at this desk for the next two weeks. wish me luck !
