Why does there have to be war? Why does there have to be so much greed? Why does there have to be homelessness? Why does there have to be pain and suffering? The only answer that comes screaming to me is "No Love."

A reminder that even when two hearts separate, the memories don’t always let go.

Love begins in a spark, but the real magic happens when two hearts recognize something deeper—something worth holding onto. When two people meet and feel that pull, that undeniable force drawing them closer, it’s more than chance. It’s the beginning of a journey. Love grows stronger with every shared dream, every promise whispered in the quiet, every step taken toward a future built side by side. It’s the kind of love that doesn’t just warm the heart—it fuels it. This song is a celebration of that powerful moment when two lives collide, and together they choose to rise, to build, and to believe in a future shaped by the strength of their love.

This song I wrote, "You Can't Stop a Railroad," was a fun one to write. To get the sound of the men swinging a sledgehammer as they were driving the railroad spikes in. I had to go to our local farm feed store and purchase a cowbell. After plugging my microphone into my Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3 interface and using Reaper DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), all that was left was to load a recording track, turn on the microphone, and then hit record. By using my drumstick, I would hit the cowbell to the rhythm of the music.

Louisiana Rougarou Boogaloo is an engaging song with a strong beat. I wrote this song this past Halloween. There were a few Halloween shows on television about werewolves.  In Louisiana, there are people who firmly believe in a creature they call a Rougarou. The Rougarou, is a werewolf-like creature from Cajun folklore, is said to inhabit the swamps, bayous, and sugar cane fields of southern Louisiana.

The song I wrote, "Love Is Like a Harmony," is for those of you who have experienced love —you know love has a way of moving through our lives, the same way harmony moves through a song—softly, steadily, and with a beauty that feels almost effortless. It’s the blending of two hearts that find the same rhythm, the gentle balance of voices that lift each other higher, the quiet moments that fall into place like perfectly matched chords. When love is true, it doesn’t shout; it resonates. It wraps around you, fills the empty spaces, and turns ordinary days into something melodic. Love Is Like a Harmony is a reflection of that feeling—where connection becomes music, and two souls create something richer together than either could alone.

Being a fantasy writer of mythical worlds that contain all sorts of characters that can only be found hidden away in one's imagination. It comes to reason that, being a songwriter, I would put pen to paper and turn out a song containing mystical dreams about a voyage over and beyond the realms of tranquil sleep. However, that wonderful feeling of love on the part of the woman grew stale, and she found a new interest in another man. Meanwhile, her first love is feeling devastated, and is still hoping that she will return to him.
