I'm trialing ellipsus on recommendation of a friend because I hate google docs and my "manually copy phone notes into word doc" method is becoming too much of a pain in the ass but my phone hates it so much. it burns so much fucking RAM and it's lagging like crazy and eating chunks of my battery. idk if their optimization just sucks or if it's the fact that my phone is 7 years old lmao

ah so apparently this is a known issue on mobile. why tout your web-based word processor as cross-platform when it sucks on essentially half of said platforms?? I'm here because I need portability - it's a requirement for me, not a nice bonus. I'd say it's the same for a good chunk of users too?

can I say something without getting killed ok I also find it obnoxious that they brand themselves very heavily as a writing platform for fanfic authors/as a home for fandom and like I get that they're doing this in a very market savvy know your target audience ploy but that makes it all the more fucking grating
