Did he? All i see is that boris told him to see if they had the map.

but hey why would he doubt his brother! Bendy SAID that boris told him to steal it! Maybe he's remembering wrong again. like he always is.

Besides bendy did what boris told him to do here, which was to run. and leave his younger brother to deal with hit men!

are they GOOD coping mechanisms??

I mean in the beginning of the comic we see him as someone who’s lively (ironically enough) and charming with the people around him, he was happy alongside Boris during the appearance of Felix and Mickey Mouse and even pleaded with Cuphead when he didn’t need to as much; and this was when he accepted what was going to happen to him right?

But now, he’s so adamant on living that he kills off someone he considered his friend for it, outside of that he is cocky & cruel around the cup bros and overall just morally skewed, willing to betray the people around him to achieve his goal- in comparison to how he was before, would you say he was better as a person then to now?

Bendy has always been himself, and has always been a great actor.

Sure he was charming at the bar, but he wasn't happy.

Even at the bar, he kicked and bit Cuphead, blew off Boris's help, disregarded his idol, and said that the cup bros deserved to die.
