This is an old photo, but it’s of me and my dog Abby. I have this strange connection with animals and kids. I don’t know what it is that draws their energy toward me, but on my bad days I just know that I have a dog that loves me unconditionally. No matter what. Abby opens my door, checks on me at night to make sure I’m home, kisses me. She shows up for me every day and I’m blessed to have rescued such a kind dog. When my parents divorced I refused to let them get rid of my dogs. She’s with me forever now. I don’t give up on people , it’s one of my favourite traits about myself. Although sometimes it hurts , it’s a beautiful trait to have. No matter what I’ll never give up on you and that’s what love and loyalty is all about.

my cat max was my biggest lesson. He taught me patience and love. All he did was want to hug me every second of the day. He’d run to follow me to my room, he was one of the only things that has shown me love in this world. He’s another thing this world has taken away from me. At the end of it all I would like to believe he knew his role here and that he was a lesson for me. He’s just my world and he knew it.
