I’m not getting any younger and I’m not getting any closer to meeting the man I will spend the rest of my life with. And it’s just causing anxiety and self doubt.

And sure I shouldn’t fixate on it, but how can I not?

I try to do things to better myself but then just get defeated...

I mean this year I got a new job that is great! I’m trying to work on putting myself first. I got two tattoos for my fur babies who passed in the last couple years. I just bought my first brand new car. I’ve been treating myself to manicures. Next week I’m getting my nose pierced. And I plan on getting big tattoos if appointments are offered to me by the artists that I requested them from.

The ocean or beach has always been a happy place for me. Enjoying the breeze and smell of the salty water. Exploring the tide pools and finding neat little creatures. Or seeing bigger animals bathe in the sun or swim by. Hearing the waves and birds talk. Feeling the water rush over your feet as your toes sink in the sand.
