There is a softness Allah places in certain souls—

a calm that settles the heart without asking permission.

Being near you feels like remembrance,

like the soul quietly saying: this is safe.

Not every connection is loud.

Some are written in silence,

felt in the chest,

and understood only by hearts that have known longing

and found hope in Allah.

I don’t know your story,

but I know this

any heart that turns toward goodness

is already close to Allah.

May He protect what is tender in you.

There is something about you that makes the heart lower its guard.

Not desire that rushes,

but closeness that settles.

Like being understood without explaining,

like being seen without being exposed.

If hearts could speak,

mine would say it feels calm near yours.

And calm is rare.

Calm is a gift from Allah.
