Rebellions are built on hopes

You know how hard it can be sometimes to think good about yourself when you're drowning in confusion and self-hatred. When you look in the mirror and all you think about is every wrong thing you’ve ever done. Every bad thing that has ever happened to you. And you look deeper into your eyes and all you see is emptiness. But you tell yourself to buckle up so you go out of your way to be normal; to blend in the crowd. And then you’re pretending so hard to be strong and unbreakable, smiling and laughing so that people wouldn’t even guess what you’re going through. But on the inside you feel like the people laughing and talking to you here, they’re just pretending to be nice to you and that they don’t really like you. You have that self-doubt in you because you don’t believe in yourself. And I want you to believe in yourself, to know that you’re capable of achieving everything you desire. And honestly the thing about people not liking you, it should not matter, their opinions they don’t matter. What really matters is what you think about yourself. Because the day you stop thinking about others first is the day you start thinking about yourself. And some people they’re always gonna make fun of you, always gonna talk bad about you, no matter how good you are or how much you do for them. These types of relationships and friendships they’re toxic for you. And to discover yourself, you need to move away from the toxicity. Once you throw out all the negativity out of your life, you won't have to pretend to be happy, you’ll be stronger and you’ll be happier than you’ve ever been. So the next time you look into the mirror, I want you to stare into that emptiness and I want you to smile at that darkness and that’s when you’ll know you’re unbreakable.
