(quotes from the coffee label).The stories of silent (reserved) lonely people whose whole lives have been squeezed into the label of a small coffee pack... Breezes from the wild winds and the blue of the gleaming sky, unique to this city.

Zuhal Çekçi born in İzmir. She’s been living in Stockholm, Sweden since 1985.She worked as the Sweden representative of certain local newspapers and magazines in the 90s. She stepped into the  literary world for “Oluşum” magazine. She took part in photography exhibitions in Sweden,Belgium and Italy while practicing photography and writing simultaneously. Her work was featured as one of the artist in the “Dear Stockholm” photography book series. She is also Turkey’s first civilian aerial photographer. In 2013. she relayd her impressions about Sweden, from the perspective of a photographer in the first book titled Snow Shoes ( Kar botları ). She wrote about the individual loneliness and communnication problem of Swedes in her second book “Stockholm Blue” and (Stockholm Mavisi) She is mother of a grown up daughter and son, and currently lives in Stockholm. Zuhal Cekci would not longer photo now.Old photos between 1980 and 2000s.

Zuhal Çekci, 1961 İzmir doğumlu olup bir kız ve bir oğlan olmak üzere iki çocuk annesidir. 1985 yılından beri Stockholm’de yaşıyor. 90’lı yıllarda bazı yerel gazete ve dergilerin İsveç temsilciliğini yaptı. Habercilik ve fotoğraf sanatını birlikte yürüterek İsveç’te ve yurt dışında sergilere katıldı. Türkiye’nin ilk kadın sivil havacılık fotoğrafcisidir. İsveç izlenimlerini bir fotoğrafçı gözüyle ilk romanı Kar Botları’na aktardı.
