Honestly one of my favourite ships in the Lego Monkie Kid fandom. They’re so cuuutee!!!

I love '18 Splinter. He's my third favorite Splinter. But the Rise fandom is making me avoid anything related to Rise, because all they want to do is say, "Rise was amazing, '12 was shit". As someone who loves every iteration of TMNT (including ROTTMNT), with '03 and '12 being my favorites, I just want to have some fun with fanarts and fanfics. But that feels nearly impossible right now because of all this "toxic 2012 family vs. best Rise family that's gonna fix and/or slap them for " content flooding the TMNT 2012 tag.

That comic makes me so angry. And the fact that the creator said in the comments, "I haven't watched TMNT '12" makes me even angrier. Like, dude—if you hate this show or haven't even watched it, why not just draw Rise content and stay away from the 2012 version? I don't get it.

And don't even get me started on the reactions. If the canon '12 boys saw this massive disrespect, they would not get along with '18 Splinter for a long time. This would disgust them. All of them would be absolutely furious.

And while '18 Splinter is... not the most respectful guy, I really don't think he would tell another version of himself, "your just a sensei, not a dad", Because—unlike some very smart people who think calling someone "sensei" makes them less of a father—he was actually raised in that culture and knows it's because this man has been teaching his sons since they were very young, and sensei for them is an another form of father.

By that stupid logic, any Splinter other than Rise and Mayhem isn't a father, just a teacher. which is wrong.

And if Rise fans love the idea of the Rise family dealing with a toxic version of themselves... just make an AU and have them meet the canon Rise boys. Is that so hard? I already have plenty of toxic family AUs for '12 or '03. That would be way better than filling the TMNT 2012 tag with a bunch of OOC crossovers.

That comic, and how many Rise fans who haven't even watched TMNT '12 comment things like, "Wow! You really nailed their personalities! '18 Splinter was way better than '12 Splinter! '12 splinter was a teacher not a dad!" , it just makes me sick.

I'd bang my head against the wall if I didn't need this brain.

Oh-so-very-important-information

Hello guys. I’d like to break the awkward silence on this blog, but not that I have something encouraging to say. Quite the contrary, in fact. Making you hopelessly waiting for new fanarts isn’t very polite, so I want to officially state that this blog is probably coming to an end.

No, wait, that was too dramatic. Uh.

Anyway, there are some things I’m still going to post. I’d also like to dump here some stuff I’ve never finished. But. The chance I draw any new fanart is very small.

Don’t you dare thinking I don’t love Homestuck anymore, you. I can say for sure that I beat my personal record of time spent in a fandom. Yet I’m afraid that when Homestuck ends, I’ll hop to other fandoms and be over head and ears in personal projects, probably like many of you. Sad, but true.

If 2012 TMNT was rebooted Id have loved to see more close friendship between April and the boys. It was kinda never touched much, but she is their first friend, and I think boys would value that very much.
