trying to change a core belief entirely all at once is scary, especially when it exists as a protective measure. try giving yourself a cheeky bit of plausible deniability! you're just dipping your toes in the water of self-esteem, you're just having a little wade! you don't have to go swimming right away, and you can always step out if you want. (but the longer you spend in the water, the more you start to understand you're actually safe there...hm, who could have predicted this...)

I need to talk to somebody that owns, runs, or is highly placed enough at a tech-adjacent company that they make decisions about it.

"Tech-adjacent", in this case, means not only full-on tech companies but any company that employs programmers, coders, and/or software engineers. This can include indie game studios (if they're big enough to employ people), art collectives that employ at least one full-time Speaker to Computer, and/or ANY company with a web presence complex enough to need one or more full-time people to maintain it. This also includes any business looking to fill such a role as of now—in fact, someone actively on the hunt would be ideal, but anybody vaguely boss-shaped in a techy space will do.
