Aster passed away this morning at 7 years and 11 and a half months.
Aster joined the pack alongside Bronze, Zero, and Crow. Originally a pupsitter, she shifted into her role as a chaser in the Sabretail Hunters party, the first hunting party the pack had. Aster was one of the best hunters in the pack, and the Sabretail Hunters saved the pack from famine time and time again.
She is survived by her mate, Condor, and her two sons, Zero and Tangle, as well as her adopted daughter, Cinder.

Ash and Bronze passed away this morning at 7 years and 6 months, and 7 years and 6 and a half months, respectively.
Ash was a chaser in his hunting party, alongside Birch, River, Otter, and Buck. He is succeeded by Shadow. A lone wolf who joined the pack three years prior, he lived out the rest of his days navigating life in such a large pack, and regaled tales of chasing prey to the younger wolves who wanted to take up hunting as their adult roles. Ash never took a mate nor had children, but is greatly missed by his party members and the rest of the pack.
Bronze joined the Blue Moon Hounds after her old pack disbanded, and went along to scout ahead of her remaining packmates, Aster, Zero, and Crow. Having had sufficient training as a scout, once joining her new pack, she made the switch to pupsitter, wanting to shed any remnants of her old life. She quickly became the head of the pup den, and adopted one of the first pups she took care of, Maple. She had a very strong relationship with all of the pupsitters and made a lasting impression on each pup she took care of, and was a fantastic asset to the pack. Bronze never took a mate, but is survived by son Birch, daughters Flick and Piper, and adoptive daughter Maple.
this is just a reaaaally messy tracker for my wolvden lineage uhhh pls ignore it's just so i don't have to go through everyone's family tree all the time... idk if it's even accurate hahaha.
This is just going to be a post to help me remember some stuff lore-wise I guess. I have a lot of wolves right now (it's seriously so bad lol) but I have some that are more prominent than others so, here they are:
Griffin, future breeding male, and just joined a new hunting party as a finisher. He has a lot of extended family (Turnip, Scallion, Nova, Maple, Thorn, Echo, Erys, and Rusty). Maple and Thorn are kind of important since they were some of my first wolves and that would be his mother and half-brother. His strongest stat is agility and his weakest is smarts (he's actually low stats all around lmao) so basically he is good in his role but kind of dumb but he's really sweet and wants to be friends with everyone (his trait is sociable lol).
Turnip, who was the runt of a five pup litter, but I only kept her and her brother, Scallion. I don't really have plans for her yet but I really love her. Depending on how things go, she could potentially be the next pack leader (IF Comet & Meira don't have any pups that I fall in love with - Meira has 3 heats left so we'll see). I'm trying to track lineage because I really don't want to do any inbreeding here which is just as well because otherwise I would have mated her to Griffin. T_T She's a humble pup. I kind of see her as the one that all the boys have a crush on but she doesn't really notice lol. I've had her training with the scouts but I don't know if I'd give her that role or not.
Cheddar, who's still a puppy right now but here he is as an adult. Honestly what a surprise he is because he looks nothing like his parents! For lore purposes, he's blind or very nearly blind (yes it's because the eyes give me that vibe), but he's very confident regardless. I feel like the elder wolves would suggest he have a role close to home like pupsitter but I could see him trying to prove himself in other areas.
Rusty is also still a puppy but he's prominent to me just because he's so RED. He's Griffin's nephew (via Thorn + mate Smudge) and he looks like no one in the family. His trait is ~helpful~ so I could see him dabbling in all the roles and then becoming a mentor. He's overall just a Good Boy. He's very plain so maybe I'll spice him up later in life but idk I just like that he is simply a red boy.
And lastly we have Ruby, also still a puppy. She's technically nothing special, only a tier two with three markings but she and her brother (Ferret) are my first wolves with hetero eyes which is very exciting to me (I know next to nothing about the genetics in the game). She's technically Rusty's aunt somehow and some way. Her given trait is unfriendly and her brother is sneaky so I can imagine them as the pups that always get into trouble. I don't really know what I'll do with her yet as she's kind of more like an "achievement wolf" to me because of the eyes but I'm also trying to have more orange/red based wolves in the pack so she's going to be staying for breeding purposes, mostly.
Anyway that's the end of my rambling! My pack is seriously overrun with raise and chases right now so I'm trying to keep track of everyone to the best of my ability (I'm thinking I need a notebook to write down all the family connections lol) but these are my most interesting wolves at the moment, especially since I really dropped the ball when writing lore. :P

Fern passed away this morning at 7 years and 11 and a half months. Fern was the first pupsitter in the pack, and took care of countless puppies during her time with the Blue Moon Hounds. She is survived by her mate, Tanicus, daughters River, Autumn, and Sparrow, son Hare, adopted daughters Smudge and Spring, and four grandchildren.
So this baby was born today and I love her so much! Her name is Turnip and she's the runt of her litter. She's going to look like this when she's older:
I think she's the best wolf I've gotten through breeding (I'm not very good at it lol)! All of her siblings are kind of average looking so I'll keep them for now but I'm thinking they're gonna be raise and chases.
Okay so I know I said I was coming back but then I didn't lmao (no creativity T_T) but I need to share my current pride and joy:
This is Griffin. I did splurge and give him the ~losna base~ and I'm honestly ecstatic with how he looks. Right now I'm thinking he's next in line to be breeding male, and he's gonna look like this as an adult:
I don't really know if he's like... considered basic or anything but I really like him! ^^
hey all, just wanted to say iām still kickinā around, just really busy with school atm! hoping to come back to this blog in mid-april, hope everyoneās well!
okay so unfortunately real life got in the way of me posting (plus an unexpected power outage as i was finishing the winter timeline hahaha) but take a look at this NBW i found today!

quick little rundown of the pups born/staying in BMH so far (in no particular order);
- Saffron had one daughter, Arya
- Peach had two daughters, Dandelion and Daisy, and one son, Dianthus
- Maple had one daughter, Nova, and one son, Thorn
- Opal had one son, Grove
- Fern had one daughter, River
- Bronze had one son, Birch
- Winnie had one daughter, Poppy
This is going to be a pretty lengthy post - four wolves for one since they all came into the pack together. Iāve put it all under the cut. ^^
general background
Bronze, Aster and Crow were members of a dying pack. Their other pack members were leaving to find new packs, but Aster couldn't travel too far, because she was still nursing her son, Zero. Being the only three left to fend for themselves, Crow and Bronze decided to stay with Aster, so that they could at least ensure her pup's safety. Fortunately for them, they began to hear rumors of a new pack forming in the mountains. It was there they found their new beginnings as a part of the Blue Moon Hounds.
Bronze, head pupsitter.
Bronze was the one to find the Blue Moon Hounds during a scouting mission. She quite literally stumbled into their territory, surprising the others, but after explaining her predicament, she was encouraged to bring Aster and Crow back to the camp with her, at least for the time being, to decide if they wanted to make their stay long term. After a lot of convincing on her part, she managed to get Aster and Crow to come back with her, but she didnāt blame their reluctance - after all, their last pack had fallen apart before their very eyes. She didnāt even know what became of her own son, Theo. It became clear pretty quickly that this new pack, though clumsily learning how to survive, was eager and strong and it would be a perfect place for them to gather their bearings. It seemed their arrival was just in time, too, since help was desperately needed in the pupden.Ā
Bronze took it upon herself to raise Maple, who reminded her of her own pup long ago, and though sheād never spent much time in the pupden at her old home, she grew accustomed to it, effectively relinquishing her status as a scout and formally joining Fern as a pupsitter. Her sheer confidence and will alone seemed to set Maple on the right track, and with no qualms, she took the place as the head pupsitter.Ā
Presently, Bronze is looking after Fernās daughter, River, whom sheās grown quite fond of, though she still regards Maple as an adoptive daughter. She has a lot of trust in her fellow pupsitters, and if she ever decides to have pups again, she knows theyāll be well looked after.
Aster, lead chaser of Sabretail Hunters.
Aster, though usually quite the charmer, has been more on the stoic side since joining the pack, due to the shock of her previous one disbanding so quickly. Sheās become flighty and anxious, usually hovering over her only son Zero, and she continues to baby him even as he grows older. Previously, Aster was a pupsitter in her old pack, and while she would have gladly taken on the role once more, if not to dote on her baby, she was all but shunned from the pupden by Bronze, who insisted that she needed to get out there and stretch her legs. She was invited on a few hunts with Tanicus, and it became clear that sheās one of the fastest wolves any of them have ever seen. A born chaser, having to focus on hunting down her prey distracts Aster from worrying about Zero, and sheās really hit her stride as lead chaser.Ā
It seems that recently, Asterās taken a bit of interest in the packās grumpiest new member, Condor, but for now it remains quiet admiration.
Crow, chaser of Sabretail Hunters.Ā
Having only ever done scout work before, Crow was surprised to be assigned to the Tanicusās hunting party. Clumsy and awkward, Crow had let prey slip away all too often, and had strongly considered asking for a different role because he was so awful at it. Watching Aster and Bronze thrive in their new positions, Crow contemplated leaving and starting all over again on his own, and it seemed his worries were obvious as he was taken aside one day by Comet. The two patrolled the area, making small talk, until Comet raced away suddenly after a hare, which he failed to catch. Heād trotted back to Crow with his head held high, however, and mentioned to him that he too, wasnāt very strong in the hunting division, but at least heād tried. Seeing how nonchalant he was about the whole thing reassured Crow. Maybe heād get better with practice. And it seemed to prove true after a time. With Kid and Saffron eventually rounding out the hunting party, and having Aster lead the chasers with confidence, Crow finally began to get much better at the role.Ā
Though he still has a lot to learn, Crow is well-liked by the rest of the pack for his perseverance and easy attitude, and though heās quiet, he usually has the best one-liners in a conversation. He still feels like heās searching for a place in the pack sometimes, but heās hopeful that things can only get better.
Zero, future hunter, trained by Condor.
Zero is the only pup of three that survived when his pack disbanded. The apple of his mother's eye, Zero is doted on by Aster. He's very interested in hunting and has begged Condor, the elusive newcomer to take him along, but it's a wonder if he'll ever be able to stray too far from their home, because Aster is too afraid to let her only son see the world.
Somehow, Zero has managed to convince Condor to train him a bit here and there, which is shocking to everyone, but his eagerness makes him a fairly good student. Heās desperate to get out there and hunt, but itās obvious that heās not going to be allowed out until the last few days of winter. Heās jealous of the other wolves he was raised with, namely Peach and Maple, who are only a few months older than him and already make a killing as their own hunting party, and he has thought about approaching them and trying to reserve a spot on their team. He wants to be a grown up very badly, and heās been caught more than once trying to sneak out of camp for just a glimpse of the neighbouring woods, and he has always been smacked across the ears by the gruff brute named Kid. If not for his own safety, heās been willed to be patient for the sake of his poor mother, who would definitely lose her mind if he went missing.
As he approaches adulthood, Zero is hoping to lose his lanky form and gain the sort of tough, war-worn appearance of Kid, and he doesnāt spend much time with the other adolescent, Figaro, but would rather try to follow Opal and Puffin on their training excursions.

Maple was a very sickly pup when she was discovered by another young wolf, Peach. Found cold and and hungry by the side of one of the icy springs, she was taken in by Fern and Bronze, the pupsitters. Bronze was determined that she would nurse her back to health and proved to be successful, because soon enough Maple was racing around the camp with the other adolescents, growing stronger by the day.
Upon reaching adulthood she formed the Silent Stalkers hunting party with her best friend, Peach, and works as the chaser, because despite her size as one of the largest female wolves in the pack, she is very quick, and uses her stature to knock into prey and stun them. However, a side effect from her sickly youth, Mapleās sense of smell never fully developed, so she is part of the reason that they donāt always catch their prey as a two wolf team. If she loses track of the prey with her eyes, itās basically a write off because sheāll never be able to track them efficiently. She often feels bad about it, and she does sometimes think that sheād be better as a pupsitter where her lack of an important sense isnāt quite so crucial, but she is always assured by Peach that when they have more wolves in their hunting party that it wonāt matter so much. She and Peach really lean on each other for support, and itās going to be a big surprise to her when she inevitably finds out that her best friend is expecting some secret pups so close to winter.
Peach was found on the side of a road, mistakenly thought to be an australian cattle dog puppy. When the humans who found her realized what she really was, they dropped her off at the base of a mountain, hoping that the little pup would be able to survive on her own. Though she didn't know how to do much that any other wolf pups her age could, she started to sniff her way around, until she picked up a scent that was different from the rest. Upon following it, she was discovered by Meira, who's scent she had picked up. With kind eyes, Meira offered her a place in the pack, where she has been ever since.
Peach is observant to her detriment. She can always tell what has and hasnāt been done in terms of the packās duties, and she will remind and/or call out any wolf who isnāt doing their due diligence. Even though sheās still young and it does irritate some of the older wolves (namely Condor), they usually end up doing what they were supposed to, because if Peach ends up doing it herself, theyāll never hear the end of it. She and Maple were given the opportunity to form their own hunting party upon entering adulthood, with Peach taking the lead as the stalker. They have yet to catch anything, but Peach is taking it in stride, since they have two other hunting parties in the pack, and winter is still a little ways off so there isnāt much pressure to bring anything back quite yet. She was trained by Tanicus, but often coaxed Aster out of the camp to teach her how to chase as well, since she wasnāt too sure what she was better at. Sheās generally well liked by the rest of the pack, though she drifted apart from Winnie, who is often out of camp and exploring, and instead found a strong friendship with Maple, who was raised alongside her. She also has a soft spot for Puffin, and is hoping to extend an invitation to her hunting party once heās old enough.Ā
Something Peach has yet to tell her friends or even her leader, is that sheās currently expecting after a rendezvous with a wolf from another pack. Sheās afraid of what theyāll think, because she knows that theyāll be born during winter and it had been the packās goal to have no pups until the next spring at the least.
