#i’ve struggled with something resembling an eating disorder for about as long as i could remember #and i have mcas which makes me nauseous every time i eat anything ever #so it’s really hard to. you know.#get myself to eat so i don’t go back to starving myself #but also. be able to stop before i get physically sick #because sometimes that stopping point is two bites in #and it’s just. my parents don’t see this as an issue #which sucks. because i was going to quit gluten this summer as the start of an elimination diet #in the hopes i’d find if there’s one specific thing that makes me sick #but nooo we won’t accommodate you!! in fact we will buy more gluten products #and if you want it yourself you have to not only buy the ingredients but also cook breakfast lunch and dinner #which is fine whatever #but then it has to be enough for everyone else #which is fine. whatever!!#but like. i am fourteen years old #how have i ended up in a situation where my options are starve or throw up #genuinely those are my options.#because i’m chronically ill and you know what?? i can’t cook for myself and four other people every night #three times a day #i’m so exhausted #i really don’t want to starve myself.#i want to eat i don’t want to feel fat #but no let’s call you out for how much you’re eating.#let’s not make food with easily digestable ingredients.#let’s talk about how skinny you are and how skinny you wish you were.#yall im exhausted pls send food #words words words #tw ed mention #tw eating disorder #tw emetophobia
