to begin with i drew a card out and added text by using hand written things but later had to change it so i added a border and used a type writer to write the things such as a way to interact with a player
for my game piece i tried to paint a giant crab emerging from a water spiral pool type of scene and this image was my inspiration for the way the water would look around my crab but with basic paint this proved to bd harder then expected.
we created playing cards that effect peoples places for example mine allows the player to move 2 anywhere some other are "move back 3"or "restart the game go to the beginning " and we also have pieces so if someone lands on your square something happens to the player i also updated and coloured my mind map of making my game and character :)
i didn’t plan effectively so my video could have been a well produced stop animation but instead its alot of choppy videos compiled together in a bad trailer

we use the effects to put some of the file videos together to create a interesting cross over from one piece to another you do this by drag and drop so i dragged an effect to the 2 sections i wanted and made it “turn to black”
i originally had comic sans as my typeface but i got too much shade for using it. i decided to get another font from a font website.
i was looking for something similar to comic sans but also a little more “professional”.
these are examples of the font i was looking at. my title is going to be in CAPS so it was important too view the words how i would see them.
above are the chosen typefaces I experimented with. I decided on COMIC HELVETICA as many of my research examples used simple typefaces like Helvetica or the Neue version of the font. So I decided to use a “comic” version of that font.

these are other students art work this is heidis which im told is a good example due the the detail and texture alone with colours and wires and the other is sams who ended up making it too big it cost £16 worth of super skulpty and has alot of detail but his neck looks weird in this photo
after getting the basic shap for my crab i then added the under belly to add more detail and then cooked it which unfortunately turned my grab from a greeny brown to a orangy red which although smell like dead fish worked out great for the colour scheme allowing me to use brighter and bolder colours along with white and play for the under belly unfortunately the black smugged with the other but the base on the peice worked perfectly

the old god zilla movies ( such as godzilla raids again - 1955 and godzilla: final wars - 2004 ) where they used action figures or people in suits is simular to mine because my movie is avout a tortoise and lizard fighting over food after the tortoise emerges from the ocean. This is effective research for me because the old fashion movie style would be similar to how my movie would eventually act like through out the time it plays.
