Olivia Porretta

This is a video I produced for the AMAZE project called Wise on the Web! It’s one of many shorts made by animators for an online series about health and sex ed for 10-14 year olds (basically, middle school.) I worked alongside Tami Kim, another awesome animator, to write and animate the video. This is my first EVER job!

Since I’m 16, it was very difficult to be in highschool AND produce an animated short, but I pulled through and had a ton of fun while doing it. Plus, my friends from school helped me voice the characters! (I voiced the little blue guy.) This project has not only given me an awesome experience to do what I love, but many other oppurtunities to speak to people! I spoke at a panel at the launch party and at the GIRLS CAN DO event in Washington DC. 

Here is my shot for Moon Animate Make Up 2!! I had a lot of fun working on this, and I learned a lot. The final product turned out beautifully. (I loved how Kaitlin handled the transformation sequences!)
