Rent is past due, my hours at work were cut, and my electric bill is $1,934.80. I’m just trying to keep a roof over my head. I am drowning this month. Just trying to keep my apartment safe and the power on. Any help or shares mean the world to a Queer Black girl right now.

but there is really, really good news. my fiancé was able to find an apartment to rent — real walls and floors and a roof, with real beds, a real place for his little nieces to run around and actually be sheltered. how many of us take our homes for granted?

this thing is a community organiser for a bunch of trans women in the north of england. it's also plural, autistic, and has unmedicated adhd so any support it gets helps it not be so stressed while it's doing that work.
