still,  his  travels  to  elysium  haven’t  been  exactly  uneventful  this  time;  there’s  a  quite  deep  bruise  near  his  shoulder,  a  small  gift  from  a  strongbow  that  he  failed  to  notice  before  they  hit  him,  and  it’s  gonna  be  a  pain  in  the  ass  to  deal  with  when  he  finds  his  way  to  theseus.  fortunately,  the  fates  decide  to  give  him  a  break  for  a  moment  and  it’s  HER  place  he  finds  when  he  crosses  another  gate.

( he  never  really  stays  too  long,  never  wanting  to  overstep  any  limits,  never  tempted  to  waste  her  time  down  here  because  surely  a  goddess  might  have  better  things  to  do;  his  relatives  are  always  so  busy,  even  if  trying  to  help  him;  why  wouldn’t  she  be  busy  as  well? )

her  touch  is  soft,  warm  and  he’s  used  to  warmth,  to  the  unnecessary  heat  from  asphodel,  but  hers  is  different  somehow,  divine  in  her  own  way  and  he  takes  a  moment  not  to  jump  away  because  that’d  be  just  rude  and  he’s  done  offending  his  patreons  for  the  day  ( ... or  was  it  night? )

you crave being known and held. you just want the warmth and pressure of another body against your own. sometimes, late at night when you're alone in your bed, your skin aches with the lack of touch. you've tried touching yourself, and it isn't the same. one time someone gripped your shoulder and squeezed it in passing, and you thought about it for weeks after - the ghost pressure of their hand lingering. don't you deserve it? consistent physical love and caring? i think so, i think you do. but i also have to ask - do you fear it even as you want? after all, if you get it then it might also be taken away. i hope that if you fear it, you push through past that fear. that you ask for the touch you desire and deserve. i hope that you get touched with love and kindness, wrapped up in warm arms and rocked from side to side until the tension and pain falls away layer by layer and only you are left.

               𝐚 𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐤,  𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐰𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫.  this is not her intended destination,  nor is it one she has ever laid eyes on before.  its air is alien,  foreign,  an atmosphere unlike anything she has ever felt lingering upon her skin,  tickling her lungs.  her ears stand tall atop her head,  wiggling ever so slightly,  at the voice that brushes against them.  turning on her heels,  she tilts her head to the side as a flutter of a smile dances over her lips.    “    oh,  hi  !  i didn’t think there was anyone around  !  i maaaaay have gotten lost,  somewhere along the way.  this definitely isn’t one of my stops.    ”
