Just realized that my windows laptop is still on windows 10 and allegedly doesn't have the minimum system requirements for windows 11 which...is crazy to me because, while my laptop is on the older side I did buy it with pretty high end specs for its time. So I suppose we are deleting windows and just using linux lmao sayonara you weeaboo shit (windows)

The one thing that baffles me when it comes to Ganondorf and people going "Oh Rauru is also poc-coded" "oh xyz hero character is also poc-coded" is that, even then, it doesn't mitigate all the negative stereotyping packed into Ganondorf's character. Even if LoZ happened to have a well written character of color it doesn't suddenly magically erase Ganondorf's orientalist writing and how he leverages a lot of orientalist stereotyping to bolster his status as a villain like this is such an incredibly stupid argument 😭

In general when people want to emphasize how good they are at exploring Ganondorf's bad traits because it is important to them that Ganondorf's bad traits are highlighted to show that they have a very deep understanding of the fact that Ganondorf is the bad guy I just sort of roll my eyes. The games already do a good job of that on their own lmao, let's talk about everything else now.

I do think that there is plenty of exploration and character development that can be found in shipping, a lot of which is unique to shipping. But if shipping is the only way that you can interface with characters, I don't know but I think it would do good for your creative endeavours to imagine characters as individuals and how you would approach them without that shipping element there. I think that would actually strengthen your shipping content, in fact.
