I don't want to talk about the 1000 days because I died a thousand times over during those days. They ripped my soul from me, took my sanity, and killed everything beautiful I saw. It's just a number the world talks about today and forgets tomorrow, even though tomorrow will be worse because it's 1001, meaning tomorrow there will be death, hunger, fear, poverty, and oppression. Nothing will change except that we keep getting worse and worse and worse. The whole world is showing sympathy today, but tomorrow they'll forget, even as our extermination and killing continue.

I would like to present my case for why Ganondorf might appreciate any of these weather conditions: Hot and Arid -> TotK Ganondorf seems to have no issue with this climate since he likes to hold court directly under the beaming desert sun WITH fire sconces burning behind him. He seems to enjoy unreasonable tests of skill and what will test your skill more than withstanding the boring drawl of court under the burning sun. While barefoot. Hot and Humid -> The hypothetical Termina fisherman Ganondorf would presumably come from the Great Bay area and, given that Koume and Kotake set up shop in a swampy area which is probably hot and humid (mushrooms amirite) he would probably also set up his fishing hole there. I don't know if this necessarily translates to him enjoying hot and humid weather but he would live with it for the sake of his goals (being a fisherman and also coming from what is presumably a tropical area). Warm humid summers and mild winters -> This is probably closest to what canon suggests that Ganondorf considers ideal climate, given how he speaks of Hyrule's gentle winds in the Wind Waker and how he desired them, and it seems to be sort of weather that the Hyrule he covets enjoys. This is also the ideal weather conditions for most humans to be fair to Ganondorf. Warm summers and very cold winters -> I feel like this is just a slightly worse configuration of the above. A slightly cooler summer for a shitty winter? I think not. Cold all year round -> Okay here me out on this one. The Gerudo highlands is one of the coldest places in Hyrule, snow and ice basically all year round. Given that we've already established that TotK Ganondorf has a thing for extreme temperatures, and given that in present day TotK desiccated Ganondorf resides deep in the depths where it must be particularly cold, he might not mind cold all year round either. I remember reading a fic where there were Gerudo villages in the highlands and Ganondorf's home village was indeed in the highlands. All's to say, TotK Ganondorf enjoyer of extreme heat might also be into extreme cold?

I'm gonna be honest, if a Tumblr post mildly shitting on what you perceive as a flaw you have, has the capacity to make you give up on pursuing writing, then you're the type of artist who's going to be unwilling to improve or learn and will forever create bad art, which is still art, but not something I think even the people around you would lament on "missing out". The alternative is also you're the artist who will double down on said flaw just to "spite the critics", which if you also embody the average fandom tumblr-user, will probably result in the most tone deaf racist art imaginable. So also, not a big loss.

Literally of course I believe everybody can be reformed however the willingness of white queers to laugh about having a Nazi phase and the prevalence of 4chan to the point of claiming it’s some sort of universal experience and right of passage is insane like you laughing about how youre a reformed former nazi really doesnt do much to make me think youre reformed

The thing about me is that if I have a perfect experience with a game I am less inclined to talk about it. That is what Link’s Awakening is to me. Perfect LoZ experience for me, 10/10, make more games like that Nintendo 👀

Perfect length for a game, dungeons that are interesting, a unique story with a good plot twist that explains all the strange phenomena you experience, memorable npcs that will stick with you, perfect amount of sidequests that are all linked to each other, and all the whimsy you would expect from a Zelda game. I dock some points for the remake because they removed the photo feature those pictures were hilarious, and a few points for the og Link’s Awakening because the 5th dungeon doesn’t have enough keys for all the doors (but that was corrected in the DX version).
