To say Alucard was taken aback by the sudden appearance of two teenagers would’ve been an understatement. He stared at the both of them; perplexed. 

This was no place for children; but considering the context clues involved, they certainly weren’t ordinary children. Neither of them carried the scent of Belmont blood though…hm.

“I may assist, but that highly depends on your goal. Why have you come here?”

As the Church had told them to dispose of Dracula was their mission all along. Jonathan and Charlotte were the only choice to stop the evil from making things worse as wars were a thing. Therefore, Jonathan had to spoke first on why they were here.

“The Church knew that Dracula returned, so we were chosen to do so. My father’s a known hunter, so i took the task with my partner here.” That was his side of his reason why he was here at Dracula’s Castle, asides the changes per rise.

As they were supposed to investigate a painting, which was some kind of a city. It had an eerie power that surrounds it as everything was real to Jonathan and Charlotte’s eyes.

“You think we can find anything strange here?” Jonathan talked to his partner Charlotte regarding the mysteries of this place. “Well one way to find out.” She proceeds first but she temporarily halted because there is a dhampir inside the painting as well. She never heard of him but pretty sure, he is an ally.

Now his distraction was successful, Chrom slayed, too the sadly turned Ylissean guards with his Falchion. What kind of a King would enjoy slaying his countrymen? Not Chrom, certainly. It pained him to have to run his sword through them when they did nothing wrong but a victim to someone’s else whimsical and wicked plan. 

Alas, his movement should be fast otherwise he will lose more than what he already lost.

“Got it! follow me! Quickly!” aiming towards Ylisstol Castle, Chrom hoped that at least, it is still safe there. He trusts his knights had done their job to keep its gates safe from these invading horrendous monsters. 

“Ritcher, if by any chance we got separated, head there and tell them that you were with me,” a pause to slay one of these cursed flying fiends. “Tell them you are a friend and they will let you in.” sounds weird and fragile of a ‘passcode’ but that’s just how much Chrom trusts his men to know what they will do. 

And as if he was looking into the future, the land was in tremor for a second before the ground the king was standing in crushed and he found himself tumbling down, deep into the ground and the only thing Ritcher heard from him is “RUN!”

Richter nods as he follows where he heads which is Ylisstol Castle, which normally it was targeted by Dracula’s demonic monsters but also fortified as well. Killing the Bloody Zombies is an act of mercy, even Chrom never liked it in the first place.

“I will do my best and let them know i was with you.” These flying demons may a distraction but Chrom did well. As something crumbling on the ground, thus making them separated. He and the villager girl had no choice but to head there as fast as they can. Richter knew he can reach the castle but there is someone he knew well, right in front of him.

“Damn it..! Damn it all!” how can someone enjoy this? How can anyone–anything, whatever he is this Dracula, be okay with harming people? “Why are they here? Why are they hurting my people!?”

To the loud shriek, Chrom’s heart felt like it sank to his feet. It wouldn’t be, right? That was not Lissa’s … it sounded awfully similar but! “DAMN IT!!” and he rushed on ahead, ready to butcher anything that comes on his way. “WHERE ARE YOU!?” 

The girl’s voice was clearer now and …could he be selfish that it was not Lissa? He is happy. But at the same time, he does not know his little sister’s fate. But he knows she is not an easy target–she is strong. “Hang in there! Richter! To the left!” and he quickly dashed to the right. It would serve to distract some of the fiends around and they can attack and save the poor lass.  

If Dracula had enjoyed eradicating a whole populace, then he already is even if this was happened after Wallachia was gorely eradicated with demons popping out of the windows and started attacking anything it sees, based on their master’s order. Now, Chrom and Richter witnessing it in their eyes. “Whatever his reasons is, it was always up to no good. I have defeated him many times and he comes back once again by a chance.” It is hard to know for how long but it always repeats in a long process. Richter may be tired of fighting Dracula but will face him again if they meet.

Richter and Chrom had to find and save that person before she gets slain. As what he had expected to know that the voice was clear now but there could be demons possibly as well as one is a diversion will do well. He did what Chrom told him to go to the left. 

As the fleeing female villager cowers, It was a good thing that they reached on time after he had using his sliding attack to the demons that was too close to her and whipping them to their ends. It was a miracle for her. What were the demons she had seen, they’re Bloody Zombies but instead of those from his world, they were Yllisean town guards.

‘ When did you start learning? when you were just a BABY? goodness me, the young talent nowadays, first a walking badass tall drink of glass Dhampir and now this hm, puts my sword and hammer to shame.’ 

Jonathan had once served the Church before Dracula became a threat but due to how Speakers mistreated and Jonathan, failing to get rid of the ‘Speaker’, Jonathan chose to ne exiled by the Church as they are now a pair of wandering hunters, whom wished to aid the ones that can’t fight. The reason why he was exiled because he will not trade his friend’s life for a position.

Who knows, they might even meet Trevor and his company by a random encounter.

Similar of how Trevor fights, Jonathan knew his combat against demons very well but doesn’t mean he’s better than Trevor himself. He was always carrying a whip and some various sidearms such as holy-watered daggers and a crossbow with various bolts to use in ranged fights. Not only the whip he carries, he also wields a short sword as well.

Charlotte was a highly talented magician that the Church had mistaken her as a ‘Speaker’ or a ‘Witch’. Even if she uses her learned magic for good, she’s still targeted by the Church to get rid of her. She knows basic and advanced magic with or without a tome. 

Her array of spells are Raging Fire, Fire Ball ,Flame Shot, Ice Needle, Ice Fang, Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, Acidic Bubbles, Rock Riot, Piercing Beam and Heal.

It is still amazing to see a quite an unorthodox weapon in action– a whip of all things. As soon the whip touches the demon, they explode like someone had just cast a fire spell right into their bellies. Magnificent but sadly there is no time for the king to admire the other skills. 

“Right, follow me!” Chrom proceeded with caution. The last thing he wants a surprise attack when he barely knows how to handle these monsters. Risens aside, these demons do fight roughly and the tiniest of mistakes could get his head chewed out of his body. 

“I’m sure the … shepherds are fine!” almost reassuring himself, and not Richter. They better be alive. The image of heartbroken Cherche is still haunting him. There will be no more victims here, never! “Richter, you said Dracula’s castle move–how do we get it to leave this realm then?” usually, people asks how to trap this thing but seeing the damage this shithole is spewing, as a king his duty is to save his people. If these demons manage to leave Ylisse’s borders then Ferox and Plegia are in danger! Not to mention the far away Valm! He would not want this pain inflicted on other nations.

Following him to find the man’s allies, he is also hoping that they were still alive. Ylisse’s death count was too many. “I’m with you.” A simple response on helping Chrom gather the surviving Shepherds. The pathways were mostly in his deciding movement. As he was asked about how Dracula’s Castle work, Richter answers him with the full truth.

“Yes it does but once it found a place to settle, it will remain there permanently. If Dracula was ever defeated, the castle crumbles on its own but if ever the castle didn’t crumble, it will be left abandoned.” If the castle was left abandoned, it was a rare occurence. Normally, it does crumble on its own. Now they kept going on wherever Chrom runs, there was a scream of a girl. Higher chance that it was Lissa or a random civilian. The screaming words was ‘Help me!’.

“Spit?” oh great. “Alright, I should go first because,” he raised his left arm which carried the Fire Emblem–the shield, “I’ll block any attacks while you can dive in for a critical hit on them.” Chrom eyed the monsters in front of them. and he thought risens were a pain in the butt. At least they don’t multiple in this crazy rate. The king twirled his sword and readied himself to dash ahead, keeping his shield up to block any poisonous spit Richter mentioned.

“Aaa!!! RICHTER, NOW!” one of these fiends spit out something but nothing the fire emblem cannot block, Chrom used his strength to push at the demon taking it down to thrust his sword into it while leaving the other one perplexed for Richter to take it down.

As they started to attack both of them, Richter exchanging attacks with the other while Chrom on the defensive with the Fire Emblem. He had never seen that shield before but it seems mythical, like Alucard’s when a Shield Rod was used. The other Lesser Demon only had did flurry of attacks on the hunter but he merely dodged them with a kick counter along with a whip on its head.

He saw the spit coming but it was a good defense. The one Chrom fighting dealt a critical blow through a vital spot as one dies that it became furious, attempting an attack for revenge.

“I’ll see your kind at the castle next time!” A dagger thrown as it was hit on the chest, followed once again with a whip, resulting a victory for humanity.

“We’ll continue to gather survivors and know what really happened here. If you have any relatives or known people, lead the way.” He picked up the thrown dagger and whip now back in his holster, now following Chrom.
