I CAN'T ENGLISH

When someone tells you bad things about a friend, you should talk to that friend. The someone is always a third party who doesn't have the best intentions in place.

Not even thirty minutes later...

A few years ago I had a friend give me these anklets. She told me that when I tied it to make a wish, and when the anklet breaks off your wish is going to come true. This time last year as I was going through the hardest time of my life I tied the anklet on in desperation. I made three wishes. One strand broke right before I got the job at Allstate. I saw it as a sign. I woke up and found two more beads in my bed today and I realized how happy I am. Two of my wishes have come true. Most people don't believe in this stuff, but what was the harm in trying? Maybe it's all by chance. Maybe it really worked. It's taken me a year to get here and there is nothing in this world that would make me go back to my past. The sadness and desperation made me become a better person.
