I used to really hate Octavia’s character before because of how much she whined and complained about stola’s not being there. Like I understood it from a character point of view. She’s 17 and her dad is out cheating and fighting with her mom while they both yell and hate each other and it’s miserable but like, as a viewer I was like girl get a grip it’s so obvious he loves you so so much.

Except in the Sinsmas episode when she realises he’s been needing anti-depressants this whole entire time and he was SO miserable he needed meds to be happy, or that he was so miserable that he stayed in this life he hated because of her, the way her outburst becomes so much more human for me then because it’s no longer about “did dad love me” because of course he did, he does and always has.

Now it’s “have I really made him this miserable?” And when the answer was no it became “did you stay because of me? Did you hurt yourself and make yourself miserable just for ME?” And what a fucking awful and horrifying thought. She loves her dad and the idea that this whole time she’s been the reason he was hurting so bad, that he’s putting himself through all that for her and it was so awful he took the first out he could get is so crushing.

I think her pushing him away now has more to do with her hating everything right now; her dad, her mom, her uncle, Blitz, but most of all herself, and the only one she can take it out on, the only one it’s safe to take out on, is her dad and she’s just trying to work through her feelings. Octavia honey I’m so sorry I hated you but I’m repenting and they could’ve never make me hate you again

New episode thoughts:

-blitz taking care of stolas is so sweet, I love how he goes out and hunts rats for him

-We get a bit of privileged ass stolas back!! Watching him realize he’s poor is so hilarious it’s great to see him being a priss again😭

-OCTAVIA’S SONG… might be one of my new favs, I LOVE that style of music, and how it calls back to you will be okay is so ugh!!!

-Stella and Andrealphus seem to have their annoying levels up to 100, like the writers REALLY wanted to hammer home how annoying they are😭 crossing my fingers still for that stella development we were promised

-The stella parallel imp client was so funny and I loved stolas yelling at her and then immediately flipping out over the warrenty phone call

-BLITZ SEEING THE HIT FAMILY AS HIM STOLAS LOONA AND OCTAVIA SOBBING SO HARD

-I always love seeing Millie having to lean on Moxxie, she’s usually so together that it’s nice when we get to see her being the one getting taken care of. M&M’s forever❤️

-STOLAS PUNCHING THE CRAP OUT OF ANDREALPHUS?? HELL YEAH I GUESS??

-WOLF FORM LOONA I LOVE HER HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT. Can all hellhounds do that?? Plus the ice dragon, and THE KISS!! Banger fight scene

-It was implied that Via outclasses Andrealphus but seeing how EASY she does it is crazy, I wonder how she compares to full power Stolas

-Blitz crawling into Stolas’s lap like a cat

-MILLIE IS PREGNANT OH MY GODDDD!!!???

-Loona has a friend group!! Yay, she seems to be doing so well

-the ending dance was so bittersweet. I don’t think i’ve ever been SO on the stolitz train before wow
