12 - “I’m so comfy right now.”

Kido had a pleasant smile on her face as she buried her cheeks into the soft warm fabric. While she was in Loki's class she had bumped into another student and got herself covered in grape juice. The teacher actually offered to wash her hoodie and shirt. She was thankful because she had become genuinely distress that her hoodie wouldn't make it without some awkward dark stain on the front. Loki had given her a nice sweater to wear while her clothes were being washed. She had been permited to not go to her next class after informing the teacher of the accident and was told it would be fine as long as she did the assignment.

Kido was in the room for the Culinary class after getting permission to work there for a while after classes had finished. She could have worked else where, but this was the spacious of the areas for her to work with. The kitchens were nice too, so she pretty much preferred it over all, plus she was familiar with the set up because she took the class. She went ahead and set out what she would need the bowl and mixer, eggs, milk, flour, sugar, the pan, and the odds and ends like Vanilla. Her goal? To make a cake to be honest, from scratch with home made icing. Something sweet she could pass around to the others. She pulled off her hoodie and hung it over one of the chairs before rolling up her sleeves ready to get to work.

She decided to make the cake batter first, so that she could have that baking while she made the icing for it. Even after though she would still have to wait for it to finish baking and then cool down enough that she could put the icing on it. She poured the flour into bowl before pouring in a bit of sugar. She mixed the two together and cracked three eggs into the dry mixture, after she poured in a cup of milk and added in a couple of teaspoons of the vanilla for the flavor. Kido mixed all of that together before pouring it into the pan and placing it into the preheated oven.

"Now to make the icing."

Or rather she would have, but the sound of the door opening behind her got her attention instead.

"You can't just leave us Kouha! Wake up!"

Kido shook the Prince by his shoulders trying to rouse him, the red dripped slowly to the ground as his eyes fluttered open. He grinned at her, just a small one, he was okay. She was lucky as a shot barely skimmed her cheek leaving a red dripping trail and a light stinging sensation on her cheek. This was far from being over, but Kouha... this was it for him..... There was nothing they could do now.

"Kido we need to move, they're over running the hallway."

Her black eyes flicked to Seto at the door reloading the gun in his hand. He was right they couldn't afford to stay here anymore, they needed to move. She was reluctant to leave him here by himself, but they couldn't drag him with them and get away quickly enough.

"But I--""Just go Kido, you've got a team to lead."

The green haired girl hesitated before she leaned over pressing a short firm kiss to his lips, "I can't tell if you're brave or stupid."

She stood from where she had been crouched at, "Lets go, don't let Kouha's sacrifice be in vain!"

7: firm kiss

Damn Kano and his stupid teasing! After receiving a drop kick to the stomach Kido had stormed out of the room fuming, just because she didn't care for boys didn't mean she preferred girls! To be honest she liked them both as much, or rather she never really thought about it before. Simple things like sexuality didn't really seem to be important to her and even so what did it matter? It was no of his damn business if she was attracted to girls or guys! The enraged girl nearly rammed right into Shinka as she passed her, after narrowly missing her Kido grabbed the girl by the arm.

"Shinka, can I try something with you?"

She didn't receive any protest from Shinka so it was all on her to just do it. So she was nervous, doing this kind of thing, experimenting, she just hoped that Shinka wouldn't freak out and avoid her. She leaned in pressing her lips firmly against the other girl's, they were soft and while it wasn't a bad experience, it wasn't a great one either. After a few seconds she pulled back and shook her head.

17: rain kiss

This wasn't her choice to be here soaking wet, but she had to get away from it all. If she hadn't she would have said something she would have regretted. Kido was just like other people she got jealous and upset just like other people, just.... seeing them so close like that time and time again and she couldn't take it. 

She had pulled the hood down over her head cranking her music up trying to convince herself that it was just rain rolling down her cheeks. She trudged forward planning to just walk around until everyone had left her dorm room. She was caught by the arm and halted in her place, not having the chance to see who it was before she was being yanked by her hood having warm lips press against her's. It was brief and the person pulled away and she stared dumbfounded into familiar eyes.

"Seto....."

He grinned at her and she just couldn't help the small smile, that horrible feeling losing a bit of its edge.
