"No, it's just.... I...." The red-and-blue spandex clad hero breaks off with a sigh, shaking his head. "My powers have just been going a little haywire lately. I dunno why. 's mostly my hearing and my sight. They already got a lot better when I first got my powers but this has been... a lot," he explains simply, reaching up to adjust his mask just a little. No need to go into the whole I can make webs with my own body now thing- not when that's what's freaked him out the most. That and the handful of sleepwalking incidents that he's been incredibly lucky to not get outed as Spider-Man from. Weird dreams, too.
"I'm good though. Adjusting." A lie. "I mean it's- it's taking a bit but y'know." No, they likely didn't. Was this a thing? Powers mutating almost a decade into having them? Captain America hadn't grown eagle wings, nor Black Panther cat ears. Dr. Banner had combined the Hulk and his own personalities but that'd been science. As far as he knew, he hadn't gotten bitten by another spider recently.
"No need to worry about me." Not that it felt like anyone ever did.

Daredevil tilts his head a little bit to the side as he listens to the other speaking. His heartbeat was even more elevated than usual, too. It always sounded faster and stronger to him, but more so now. However to him it seemed more like that came from nerves than the recent changes to his powers.
And then the other tells him he's good, and that is absolutely a lie, Matt can tell. It worries him a little. He's fond of Spidey. Not that they know each other all that well, but it's nice to not be alone in this. To know that there are others looking out for people the same way he has been. He'd like to help if he could.. he's just not sure that he can.
"Did you do something to trigger anything like that? Or did it just happen?"
Matt hasn't heard of anyone developing powers naturally, or powers changing so long after they first showed up. His own certainly hadn't. They'd gotten better, but with practice, not out of the blue.

"That is also not exactly how an objection works." He muses. "The truth is the truth. No objection in the world can change that." Matt's not watching her. Not in the literal sense at least. But he's observing her every move. He can't read her mind, not literally, but he can tell enough of what she's thinking by observing her. Karen Page. The one good thing in his life. The only person on this entire rotten planet that he'd die for. Readily. Eagerly.
She makes her way over to him and Matt knows that any other time she might've been out of the door already, but this thing clearly left her feeling down enough she wanted some consolation. From the Kingpin of Crime. Ironic almost.
Strong arms wrap around her frame as she leans her forehead against his shoulder. There are few things Matt Murdock cares about, but he cares about her. Immensely. If anyone so much as laid a finger on her, he'd make sure they wouldn't live another sunrise. She was his treasure. The one person who cared about him. Truly cared. The one person he could be real with.
A hand moves up to rest on the back of her head, fingers lightly brushing over her hair before he leans down to press his lips to the top of her head, his other arm still around her middle. "Maybe we're both not so different from the men who did that. After all, those same men raised me to be who I am today. You couldn't have prevented what happened just now, they could."

It's everything in her that she doesn't grind against him when he presses into her, a moan caught in her throat. Her desire to be fucked over the counter is not more important than his pro-bono work, but sometimes she does consider it for a moment. Especially when his warmth is so enticing and pressed against her.
"And get to spend the whole day watching you be smart and hot? Are you sure I wouldn't be more of a distraction?"
He laughs when she says that. "Maybe. Only one way to find out, right?" Matt offers as he sets her down to her feet again, leaning in for one more loving kiss. "Maybe it will only motivate me to be even smarter. You may make or break this case, Ms. Stacy." He says with a grin, kissing her on the cheek before he pulls away to finish getting ready for work.
"If you're going to come along, however, I suggest getting ready. We'd need to leave soon if we still want to be on time. I hear being late is frowned upon. I hear this, because Foggy is always very determined to remind me as often as he possibly can."
