Last night I had a dream in which we were friends again.

What a twisted dream that was.

I woke up uncomfortable, for a moment believing it was real.

But how could we ever be friends again?

After everything that happened and all the things we both said; how could we ever heal from that?

You are not a good person either now.

Maybe you were fun before and you would even pretend to support me but as soon as I turned my back and closed the the door all that came out of your mouth was my name.

Twisted lies and twisted vendettas, you made me sick to my stomach.

We were so close, I loved you in every way that a friend could, I was always there, but no. No, that was not enough. 

You found every reason you could scrounge up to hate me, distorted every good memory into an old nightmare and left me believing that you were never a friend at all.

We spent so many years being there for each other, picking each other up and putting the pieces of our paralleled lives back together but despite all that, you still found every reason to hate me and felt no remorse in spitting on all that we once were.

So no, that dream could never come true, it could never be a reality once more.

And thus I realize that it was never really a dream but a nightmare in disguise.
