𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞 : avery elizabeth blair .  𝐚𝐠𝐞 / 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 : twenty - one , born october 19th , 1999 . 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭 : libra sun , aquarius moon , libra rising 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 / 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐧 : seattle , washington / redmond , washington 𝐬𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐚𝐥 / 𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 : pansexual / panromantic . a discovery at age sixteen led to a tearful confession to her parents a year later , to which they bluntly responded with “ we know . “  𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐬 : ( + ) ambitious , loyal , resourceful , sensible ; ( - ) restless , secretive , uptight , withdrawn  𝐚𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 : alarms set for the crack of dawn , an impressive collection of visors , drawers filled to the brim with workout clothes , ponytails loosely held up by a scrunchie ,  & taking full advantage of a rare night out . 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐬 : elizabeth bennet ( pride and prejudice ) , emily fields ( pretty little liars ) , frances ( conversations with friends ) , haley james-scott ( one tree hill ) , paris geller ( gilmore girls ) , the fact that sydney sweeney was her high school’s valedictorian 

𝐀 𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐅 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 .

𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 : her parents , catherine ford ( née blair ) and joseph sinclair , both 40 years old and ex-high school sweethearts , co-own a restaurant in downtown seattle . catherine has since gone on to marry bradley ford ( 42 ) , a sous chef at the restaurant , while avery’s stepmother , jacqueline sinclair ( née forbes , 38 ) , serves as the head hostess . 𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 : she has one full sibling , a younger sister named riley ( 18 ) ; a half-brother on her mother’s side , greyson ( 7 ) ; two half-siblings on her father’s side , sisters dakota ( 5 ) and carson ( 3 ) — clearly , her parents bonded over a shared affinity for gender-neutral names .

brought up under the devoted care of two loving parents , avery briar was gifted with the special kind of familial love that money couldn’t buy . in lieu of private jets and shopping trips funded by daddy’s gold amex , the briar household was home to blended family christmases and suburban comfort , a feeling at once both deeply nostalgic and boringly mundane . her parents were more fit to be business partners than actual life companions , a fact confirmed by their quiet & amicable split when avery was seven . both eventually settled into marital bliss with their respective partners , and in spite of the financial troubles stemming from the business ( the food service industry was high risk and mostly , very little reward , and it was as unpredictable as it was competitive ) , they were a family— an unconventional one , but a family nonetheless .

college had always been in the cards for avery , but she figured she’d wind up at the state school , which to her , was already a great choice . it was senior year of high school when biscayne was brought to her attention , recommended to her by an overzealous teacher who believed she had what it took to get in . and with their annoying insistence , they were right— not only did she get in , but the academic scholarship she received was enough for her parents to cover the remaining cost . 

stepping foot on campus felt strangely akin to being a fish out of water , something she wasn’t wholly prepared for despite the obvious class difference between her and most of the students . self-doubt reared its ugly head , its only remedy being to fill up an empty plate with as much to do as humanely possible . a ( legitimate ) rower since high school , being the captain of the collegiate team has brought her a sense of normalcy in this otherise foreign world , finding a strange comfort in 6am morning routines and full schedules . 

𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 .

i’m a sucker for everything —  best friends , enemies , you name it ! i do like to get a feel for chemistry first , but besides that i’m down for whatever . here are a few specific plots i have in mind :

the jennifer to her needy  :  these unlikely friends could run in different social circles or perhaps , in true biscayne fashion , this could be a scholar / legacy friendship . avery crushes on anyone with a heartbeat , so expect a one-sided infatuation on her part . * open to f / nb *

the brooke davis to her haley scott / tutor girl : another iconic & unlikely duo , this friendship would’ve likely arisen out of a chance encounter , or maybe avery started tutoring them for extra money ? there is so much room for opportunity w/ this one and i’m super excited to see where this could go! * open to f / nb *
