twenty four • broadway actor • charming, ca Greetings! My name is Blaine Anderson - welcome to my blog. I don't doubt you've heard of me from my years on Broadway. Recently, I've made a comeback, starring as Mark Cohen in the return of Rent. I currently live between my hometown of Charming, California, and New York City but Charming will forever be my home. Feel free to ask me anything you want to know - my askbox is always open. ❝ Being on stage makes me come to life. It's a power
unlike any other. When all eyes are on you, they're
watching every move you make. They're eating out
of the palm of your hands.❞
Est. May 2014.
You’re one of the most sought out actors on Broadway right now – trust me, I read the reviews and people are raving about you. Which doesn’t surprise me because you’re talented as hell. Cute. I suppose you should let everyone know that you’re mine.
That is true. I can vouch for that.
You’re far too kind to me, Sam. I’m very glad you think I’m talented and honestly, as long as you have faith in me, I don’t care what happens. Everyone knows I’m yours. You don’t think it’s obvious?

Broadway may not really be my thing, but it is when you’re in it. I would watch every musical ever if you were in them all. If people are really that interested you can tell them about me, but I don’t see why they would be as you’re the star.
Sorry, sorry. My bad. You’re this big bad biker but with me, you’re far too sweet to be a badass. Better?
You couldn’t possibly watch every single musical ever, just like I couldn’t be in every one ever. I’m very glad you want to watch me perform though. It’s my opening night next week and I know it’s too short notice for you to be there, but I’ll definitely see you soon, baby. I’ve missed you so much. I’ll tell them a little about you, Sammy. They’re interested in you because of me. It sounds stupid but they want to know about my love life and they want to see the man who has captured my heart.
If it makes you smile then I am not going to stop it at all. Or ever.
Of course I have to come to at least one of your shows – what kind of boyfriend would I be? As soon as I have time and can trust Finn with running the club for a while, I’ll come over and see you. Why would anyone want to know anything about me when they can learn all about someone as awesome as you?
You are far too sweet, you know that? You’re supposed to be a badass and yet you’re the sweetest person ever.
Well I’ll be there for quite some time, hopefully. But if not, it’s okay. I know Broadway isn’t really your thing, Sam, and I understand. They want to know you because you’ve completely stolen my heart. It’s no secret I’m hopelessly in love and they want to know everything about you.
Did I mention how proud I am of you? Because I am. You can just call me Sam Evans: The World’s Proudest Boyfriend from now on.
I love you and I promise I’ll come and see one of your shows soon. Or ten of them.
You may have mentioned it once or twice. Or fifteen times since I told you. God, you’re so cute but it’s making me miss you even more. Stop it.
I love you too, Sammy. You can’t possibly see ten of them. You don’t have to come to any of them. Just so long as I get to see you at some point soon, I’m happy. I’ve missed you so much. Did you know my agent said people are trying to get me in interview to find out more about you? Apparently now I’m back in the world of Broadway, the media want to know everything about me.
It has been so long since I’ve had the time to post on this blog. I would feel bad about it, but life has been so good for me recently, I really can’t complain. In case you’re not up to date with the world of Broadway, I’ll fill you in. After twelve years on Broadway, Rent took its final curtain call in 2008. The actors took their final bow and the show was laid to rest, remaining the seventh longest-running shows in Broadway’s history, with four Tony Awards under it’s belt. For years, I’ve been a huge fan of the show. I went to see it when I was younger, thanks to my mother taking me, I watched the movie adaption countless times and bought the DVD of the final performance.
Well, in May this year, I got a phone call from my agent. She told me there was talk of Rent making a comeback, returning to the stage to give a new generation the opportunity to love the show as much as the older one did. At first, I didn’t believe it but then it was confirmed and I knew I had to audition. So that’s exactly what I did. To be totally honest, I didn’t expect a big part - I’d have been more than happy being part of the ensemble, as the opportunity to be in Rent on Broadway was one I would not take lightly. But then, towards the end of June, I got another phone call.
I, Blaine Anderson, landed the role of Mark Cohen. One of the main characters and the narrator of the entire show.
Of course, I cried when I found out and I’m incredibly proud. This has been kept incredibly quiet for months, though. We’ve been trying to avoid the public finding out as we wanted it to be a surprise. Well, next weekend is our opening night. So far, the response we’re getting is absolutely phenomenal and I’m incredibly hopeful that this show will run for a long time yet, maybe even for another twelve years, and I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of it.
None of this would have been possible without my incredibly supportive friends and, of course, my wonderful boyfriend. I miss you, baby. Thank you for being my rock. I hope to see you soon.

LOCATION: Charming Elementary School, Charming, CA.
NOTES: After much coaxing from Sam, Blaine is set to perform at the school where he works as part of a music festival. He's nervous, but the thought of his boyfriend is what gives him the confidence to walk onto the stage and sing for everyone there.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: None.
Sam couldn't fully say that things were perfect with Blaine but right now, everything was definitely improving. Ever since his boyfriend had finally told him about all the awful things that Karofsky's gang had done to him, they were both beginning to come to terms with it and Sam was honestly trying his hardest to help him move on, wanting to support him to the best of his abilities. Charming's local school had some music festival going on and after a little twisting of Blaine's arm, Sam managed to persuade him to go along so he could perform as he knew he adored both music and the kids he worked with. If anything could help, he was sure that being able to sing would be one of those things. Plus, Sam was able to hear his boyfriend sing in front of him for the first time in what was probably years. So really, it was a win-win for both of them.
Blaine was nervous about performing again. He hadn't done it since his final curtain call on Broadway, and he was scared. But Sam had managed to coax him into doing it and he was currently stood on the side of the stage, waiting to go on. He was famous, he knew that, and for the school to have him perform was a huge thing for them. Charming was a small town and it didn't get a lot of attention. There was a huge festival at the school, celebrating all different kinds of music and performing. Blaine had been asked to sing due to his time on Broadway, and he was waiting to go on stage. There was a piano in the centre and a microphone, meaning everyone would be able to hear him clearly. Including the members of SAMCRO that were in the audience. And Sam. His colleague whispered to him that it was time to perform and his name was called out on the stage to enormous applause. Blaine bit his lip, stepping out and smiling nervously. It was the first time he'd really been out in public since his attack, despite how long it'd been. Blaine sat down at the piano, fingers brushing over his keys gently but not quite pressing down yet.
Sam couldn't stop himself from smiling widely as Blaine stepped out onto the stage, clapping along with the rest of the audience. He and the SAMCRO members he'd brought along had managed to nab pretty good seats close to the front of the stage meaning he was able to see his boyfriend perfectly when he took to the stage. All the other performers had been good but he knew that Blaine would blow everyone away, no doubt about it. Sam had spent the last few years watching his performances on YouTube and his voice had grown even more beautiful and amazing than it was back in high school so he was looking forward to hearing it once again. As Blaine's fingers brushed over the piano keys, Sam kept his eyes focused on him, smiling encouragingly just in case Blaine happened to look in his direction. He hoped that the club members that had come with him wouldn't throw him off but they had practically begged to come as they were all fond of his boyfriend, meaning it was impossible to say no.
Blaine risked a glance up, giving a shy smile to his boyfriend before turning his attention back to the piano in front of him. Before he'd even thought about what he was doing, Blaine had began to play. He hadn't rehearsed, not really - there was nowhere for him to actually practice, other than the school, and he hadn't been there in what felt like a lifetime. It was obvious to anyone that knew him that he was singing about Sam. After all, the song "All Of Me" wouldn't be sang about just anyone. It came easy to Blaine and he was playing without thinking about where he was moving his fingers, the words coming out before he'd thought about it as he sang, strong and confident, throughout the hall.
Sam swallowed as Blaine began to sing and play the tune, almost immediately realising that his boyfriend was singing about him, along with just about everybody else in the hall. He recognised the song straight away and knew that it couldn't possibly be about anyone else. Even though it had been a while since he had sung or even practiced, the words still came out beautifully and Sam couldn't help the shiver he suddenly got down his spine. He could feel Finn nudging him in order to get his attention so he could smirk at him but Sam was mesmorised and honestly couldn't think about anything other than Blaine's perfect voice and the song he was singing. His heart was thumping loudly and he could feel butterflies dancing in his stomach as he smiled sweetly at his boyfriend.
Blaine was completely lost in the song. His eyes had slipped closed and he was singing his heart out, lost in the words. It was only when he finished that Blaine opened his eyes again, looking up at the crowd and blushing at the applause. Blaine pushed himself to his feet, clearly embarrassed and gave a small smile, bowing ever so slightly. He noticed someone filming his performance and frowning, having a feeling they weren't from Charming. But what could he do? Especially when he was being led off the stage by his colleague, who was thanking him for such a wonderful performance. But Blaine wasn't really listening, already wanting to be back with Sam. Being separated from him made him nervous, and he wanted his boyfriend back.
Sam clapped as loudly as he could once Blaine had finished his performance, laughing a little as he heard the club members whooping loudly besides him. Now his performance was over, Sam didn't really have a reason to stay any longer so before the next person was on, he quickly snuck away from the audience and backstage, hoping to find Blaine. His colleagues didn't say a word when they saw him, everybody in the town now knowing that he was in a relationship with Blaine. A tiny smirk appeared on his face as he realised how great it felt knowing that he didn't have to hide away the fact that they were together now everyone knew. But as soon as he saw Blaine, he smirk turned into a wide smile and he moved over to him before pulling him into his arms. "I'd almost forgotten how fucking talented you are, Blaine Anderson."
Blaine looked up when he heard his boyfriend, immediately relaxing into his arms. "You're far too sweet to me, Sam," he said quietly, leaning up to brush his lips against his. "But it wasn't anything special. They just wanted me to perform... Although I think there were some paparazzi there, so now I'm kind of dreading people seeing that performance. Being in the spotlight can be kind of scary, you know."
Sam kissed him back sweetly, before peppering little kisses across his forehead and smiling widely at him. "It was special to me. And judging by how loud the applause was, I'm going to presume everybody else thought it was special too." At his next words, a frown suddenly appeared on his face and he turned to look behind him as if checking for random photographers. "There were?" he asked sharply, his grip on Blaine tightening a little, almost protectively. "What the hell are they doing in Charming anyway? And how did they know about this?"
Blaine closed his eyes at the kisses to his forehead, clearly relaxed and comfortable with his boyfriend. When Sam tightened his grip on him though, he looked up and reached a hand out, taking his arm gently. "Don't worry about it, Sam. They may have a relative that lives here or something and they're trying to score a shot of me performing for the first time since Broadway. Don't worry about it, okay? I'm not bothered, not really. I just forgot how tiring it is to have paparazzi around." He leaned up to kiss him again before pulling back, taking his hand in his own. "What do you want to do now? We can go to the clubhouse if you want. I saw the guys in the audience so I don't doubt that they want to see me."
Sam still couldn't quite get rid of the frown on his face, not trusting whoever it was filming Blaine's performance. If they were going to get people coming to find his boyfriend in Charming then Sam wasn't entirely sure what to do, especially if they discovered his relationship with him and began nosing into his life and club business. But he pushed the thought to the back of his mind, figuring it was something he could think about later if he needed to. "Fine, if you say so. Promise you'll tell me if things start getting worse though?" He squeezed at Blaine's hand and linked their fingers together before grinning and nodding. "Of course they want to see you. Probably so they can tease the hell out of the two of us but also because they thought your performance was as amazing as I did. So we can definitely go to the clubhouse if you want to?"
Blaine nodded at the question, squeezing his hand in return. "You know I'll tell you if things get any worse, Sam. I know you just want to protect me but honestly, it's fine. I got used to them." He bit his lip for a moment before pulling him closer, smiling up at him. "And don't worry if they try and find out who you are. I'll tell them that I have a wonderful, gorgeous and loving boyfriend who's a humble mechanic and a motorcycle enthusiast. That's what you usually say, right?" His words were teasing and Blaine leaned up to kiss him gently before pulling back again. "Clubhouse it is. I'll even let them buy me a drink."
Sam laughed and finally eased up at Blaine's words, the thought of the paparazzi trailing Blaine around Charming pretty much going straight out of his head. "You wouldn't be lying," he smirked, his hands moving up to cup his boyfriend's face as they kissed sweetly. He didn't think he could get over how much he loved Blaine and how happy the man made him and he hated that it had taken him so long to fully accept that he really was the one for him. Things were nicely falling into place after all the shit they'd been through and now they were both closer than ever. "They'll buy you a lot of drinks if you say that, babe. Come, let's go."
Blaine shrugged his shoulders, a small smirk on his face. "Exactly. I know what my boyfriend does, and I'm proud of that fact. He fixes cars, bikes, and loves motorcycles. Speaking of, I think there's work that needs to be done to my car. Do I get discount?" Blaine hummed against Sam's lips, pulling back after a moment and grinning at him. "Glad to hear it, although I'm not going to get drunk," he said seriously, slowly leading him out of the school. There was a flash and Blaine groaned, knowing that someone had taken a photo, but he couldn't find it in himself to actually care at the moment. "Are we taking my car or your bike?"
Sam grinned back at Blaine, as he spoke, chuckling softly at his words. "Only if I'm feeling nice," he replied with a quick wink, pecking his lips one last time before their fingers linked together once more and he was lead out of the school. It was still so weird and surreal being open about his relationship with Blaine but now the club knew and accepted them, he couldn't care less about what a couple of locals he barely knew thought. The camera flash immediately irritated him but he didn't want to look around for it, figuring he was best laying low. "My bike, of course. I like it when you ride it with me."
Blaine knew the camera flash had irritated Sam but he was glad that he didn't say anything of it. He nodded at the response and easily led him over to his bike but didn't sit on it yet, merely looking up at his boyfriend. "That sounded filthy," he said with a small smile, squeezing sam's hand again before letting go, biting his lip. "After you, dearest boyfriend of mine."
Sam smirked as Blaine spoke, cocking his head to one side slightly. "Why would I ever intend anything to sound filthy?" he asked innocently, grabbing his helmet and grinning as Blaine as he put it over his curls and fastened it. He swung his leg over the bike and continued to ignore the second camera flash he saw, wanting to get away as soon as possible and hoping whoever was watching them wouldn't follow. "Hold on tight, babe."
Blaine grinned at his boyfriend's response but didn't say anything. He allowed Sam to put it over his head and secure it before climbing on the bike behind him, wrapping his arms around Sam's middle. "Always will," he said, not caring that there had been a second flash of a camera. It didn't matter to him right now because he had his boyfriend, and that was what was important.
I could make out with you? Or if you’re not in the mood for that we could just cuddle instead. Or play video games, I don’t care. I’m glad you’re not because it’s nice having you around.
I swear to God if you call me Samuel I won’t kiss you for a week.
Is there anything I could do to help with the nerves? I guess it would have been great but it’s too late now. But we’re together now, so we have all the time in the world to make up for everything we lost.
Um... I don't really know. Try and distract me, I guess, because the more I think about it, the worse I'll feel. But that's very true. I'm not going anywhere, I promise.
You could, but full naming me isn’t half as satisfying as full naming you.
If you were a shit performer you wouldn’t have been on Broadway and I probably would have told you a long time ago before we were so close. I would have gone but I couldn’t leave Charming and I didn’t even know if you’d want me there. But alright, that’s good enough for me.
I'm joking, Sam. I'm just nervous. And I know you couldn't leave Charming. This is your home and I get that. But I'd have loved to see you there. It'd have been awesome.

No I don’t. I say it because I think you’re pretty damn amazing. You still have a few days to decide whether you will or not. But I think you’ll be perfect if you do. Of course I’ll come. I haven’t seen you perform since high school and I’m sure watching a couple of YouTube videos don’t count. I’ve missed watching you.
It's almost as though you want me to do it in return.
You still have to say it. If you told me I was awful, then you wouldn't be a good boyfriend. Or maybe you would because it's honest. I forgot you never saw me when I was in New York. I'll think about it, okay? I'm still pretty nervous about the whole thing.
Blaine Devon Anderson. You are the most talented person I know and probably the most talented person I ever will know. You don’t have anything to be scared about because you’re gonna blow away the whole of this town with that voice of yours. Everything’ll come right back to you as soon as you step on that stage. Plus you’ll have me right there cheering you on the whole time.
But you have to say that, you're my boyfriend. I can't help being nervous, though. I really want to perform, but I'm afraid that I'm going to get onto that stage and freak out. But.. You're going to come?
You should go, Blaine. I know how much you love and miss performing so if anything’s gonna make you feel a little better, it’s music, right? You’d be perfect.
Confidence is an issue here, Sam. I haven't actually performed in front of anyone since April, when I officially left Broadway. I came here in May and that was it. I'm just kind of scared.
I'm so nervous about Monday. It's Charming's annual music festival and they've asked me to perform. I still don't know if I'm going to yet, because I don't know if I'm ready to get up on the stage. A part of me wants to, but the other part isn't so sure.
NOTES: Blaine is hanging out with Sam and the other members of SAMCRO. What he doesn't realise is that the members of the club are slipping him more and more alcohol and Blaine is getting more and more drunk. But Sam is growing worried as Blaine is becoming over-friendly and knows he needs to take him home.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Drunk!Blaine, basically. We totally didn't forget to post this in July.
Sam was actually having a surprisingly good night. After inviting Blaine along to the part the MC were having in the clubhouse, Sam wasn't entirely sure how well that would go down although the club had surprisingly taken a liking to Blaine (even though he suspected that was because they all thought he was a hilarious drunk and knew they'd have to answer to Sam if they gave him any shit). The VP of SAMCRO stuck by Blaine's side for most of the night, not quite fully trusting him to be alone with the other guys for the night, especially when he was getting drunker and drunker as the night went on. Sam's biggest fear was the club finding out about their relationship so he hoped to God that nothing would slip tonight as the two of them were taking a big risk. "You finished that one quickly," Sam commented with a slight snort as he nodded towards the almost empty glass in Blaine's hand. If he was honest, it was pretty amusing seeing his boyfriend this drunk and the blonde didn't really stop the guys from filling his glass each time it was emptied.
Blaine wasn't really sure what he was doing at this party or why Sam had invited him. It wasn't like they could be normal there, what with the club being so homophobic. To his great surprise though, most of the members of the club seemed to like him - they kept buying him more drinks and made sure he sat with them, Sam by his side as they talked, clearly wanting to get to know him. Blaine knew he was getting drunker far quicker than he usually would, but he didn't care. Sam's words had him grinning, even as his glass was filled up again and he shuffled closer to him, shrugging his shoulders. "And? I've not nothing planned for tomorrow other than spending the day with you, I'm guessing. And they're paying, so why would I complain?" Some of the other members of the club laughed at Blaine, handing him the re-filled glass and encouraging him to drink. "You know how people say they have beer goggles or whatever when they drink? Doesn't apply to you. You're still hot as fuck." Blaine's voice was slurred and he grinned, downing his drink quickly and setting it back on the table. "Sam you're hot, you know? So, so hot."
Sam held his breath as Blaine moved closer to him before taking a sip of his own drink as he carefully avoided looking down at his lips. He'd been drinking a lot slower than Blaine had been and was a lot better at holding his alcohol meaning his head was still pretty clear and he could still think straight. "I won't be spending the day with you when you're hungover as fuck tomorrow morning." He smirked and took another gulp of his drink, watching Blaine as he took his refilled drink and began to drink more. At his words, the blonde almost choked on his drink and had to force himself to swallowing before he actually did choke. "You sure about those beer goggles? You haven't ever seemed to notice how hot I am until now," he shot back with a forced laugh, hoping his reaction and delay in response to his words would go unnoticed by the club. It seemed to work as the guys around them were chuckling and seemed a lot more focused on getting Blaine to say more ridiculous things.
Blaine pouted up his boyfriend, reaching up and poking his cheek. "Don't be silly, of course I've noitced how hot you are. I've known you for years and you've been hot for every single one of them." He grinned up at him, shuffling closer and resting his head on his shoulder, sighing in content. Another drink was pushed into his hands and before he'd even thought about it, Blaine had taken a sip, shuddering at the strong taste of alcohol. "Saaaaam," he whined, pouting up at the blonde again. "They're giving me really strong drinks and in a minute I don't think I'm going to be able to walk. I'm supposed to be driving home tonight, too. Probably gonna have to stay at yours."
Sam hoped to God that his cheeks hadn't turned red at all because he knew that could easily happen any second with how awkward and embarrassed he was feeling from everything Blaine was blurting out. Sure, he was completely drunk and off his head right now but there was some obvious truth to his words and he didn't know just how much the rest of the club would think about it. As soon as his head was on his shoulder, Sam froze momentarily before grabbing his drink and taking another sip from it in order to distract himself from the warmth on his shoulder. Carefully he began to shrug him off before biting down on his bottom lip at his words and trying to smile again. "But if you puke on my carpet I'll kill you," he joked, cocking up an eyebrow at his boyfriend. "Maybe I'll have to drive you home instead if I haven't drank too much."
Blaine frowned when Sam shrugged him off his shoulder, looking up at him and huffing before turning away, accepting another drink from another club member, although he wasn't sure which one. "I'm not going to puke on your carpet. You know me well enough to know that I don't get sick when I'm actually drunk. It's hangovers we have to worry about." Blaine grinned, leaning up and patting Sam's cheek gently before pushing himself up again so he was sat up as straight as he could be, what with his drunken state. "I don't even know how much I've had to drink. But I'm probably going to pass out in a minute. I don't even know if I can stand."
Sam raised an eyebrow up at Blaine's words, unable to wipe a smirk off of his face despite the pat to his cheek. It had only been a few times he'd seen Blaine get drunk but both times he had just lay in bed complaining about his headache while Sam took care of him... which could probably happen again in this case. "Let's hope you're right about that, Blaine." When he stood up, Sam instinctively grabbed his arm to make sure he didn't actually topple over. But as quickly as his hand was there, he took it away and tried to stop himself from looking so conspicuous. He knew he was ridiculously on edge and paranoid but he had every right to be when he didn't know what would be said next. He could tell that Karofsky was beginning to watch them and he had no idea what that meant. "Be careful..." he murmured as he watched Blaine. "Sit down if you can't stand."
Blaine groaned when he felt the hand on his arm, looking down at it before back up at Sam, grinning slightly. "Someone likes putting their hands on me," he said in a low voice, slumping down against Sam and sighing softly, as though completely happy with where he was right now. "I don't want to sit down. I wanna dance, Sam, and I want you to dance with me because imagine how fun it would be!" He was grinning, trying to pull Sam into the open space of the bar, hand resting on his shoulder. "Friends can dance together, right? Nothing wrong with that and I like dancing, apparently even more so when I'm drunk."
Sam could feel his face heating up the more and more Blaine spoke to him and kept close to him. If it wasn't for the fact that he was incredibly embarrassed and scared his boyfriend was going to blurt something out about their relationship, he would probably be genuinely laughing along with the others instead of forcing out laughs. "Blaine..." he said slowly as he was dragged up by Blaine. The last thing he wanted to do was hurt Blaine but he couldn't just dance with him like that and he was sure he'd understand in the morning if he hadn't already forgotten. "You'll hurt yourself if you dance, Blaine. You can barely even stand."
Blaine furrowed his brow at Sam as he basically said he didn't want to dance with him, clearly upset. "Fine. If you don't want to dance with me, then fine." His voice was huffy and he pushed Sam away, pulling one of the other members of the club to their feet. He grinned as he cheered, clearly not caring about dancing with Blaine. They were both drunk and it wasn't as though they were fucking, so why not? Blaine slipped his arms around the guy's neck, glancing back at Sam and winking. "Don't you wish this was you, Evans? Wouldn't be the first time we've danced, would it?" His voice was still slurring, steadily getting worse, but he grinning when the man he was dancing with pushed another drink into his hands, easily downing it and shuddering at the burn of the alcohol.
Sam practically glowered as Blaine began dancing with one of the other guys. All he wanted to do was punch him for touching his boy and allowing him to have his hands all over him but he couldn't say a word without looking suspicious, so he simply glared. Taking the rest of his drink, he downed it all in one, hoping that the alcohol would distract him from how shitty he was feeling. At his words, Sam's jaw locked and his hands gripped around the empty glass, wishing it was full again so he could down another glass. So much for staying somewhat sober, he snorted to himself before dating himself to look up at Blaine despite how sick it made him feel. "I have no idea what you're talking about," he stated through gritted teeth, still glaring at him as he spoke.
Blaine rolled his eyes, able to see how angry Sam was getting. But yet another drink was handed to him and Blaine drank it as quickly as the last, rolling his hips against the other man's and laughing to himself when he cheered, clearly drunk as well. "Are you suuuuure, Sammy?" He sang, raising an eyebrow at him. "You don't remember us dancing when we finished high school because we were done with our educations? I'm sure you remember what happened after, or do I need to remind you, hm?"
Sam knew that he was getting incredibly tense the more Blaine spoke, his fists clenching as he feared the next thing he would say. The blonde knew if he didn't intervene soon, the whole club would know about their relationship which would end in hell for both of them. "No, you don't need to remind me," he said slowly, keeping his eyes focused on Blaine as he silently prayed for him to stop speaking and talk about something else. He knew everyone was listening in on them so it was all he could do to prevent Blaine from letting anything slip.
Blaine looked up at the club member he was dancing with, frowning and pushing him away, clearly bored. He moved over to Sam, sitting beside him and resting his head on his shoulder, yawning. "I think I'm going to nap here, I'm so tired. Sleeping next to each other isn't a big deal, right? We did it all the time in high school. Among other things," he added in a low voice, so only Sam could hear. There was a grin on his face and he couldn't help but wink, unaware that he was blurting much more than he probably should, especially with the situation they were in.
Sam couldn't even bring himself to push away Blaine when he rested on his shoulder, resisting putting his arm around his waist and kissing his head no matter how much he wanted to. Closing his eyes for a moment, he tried to push his thoughts away from high school, knowing that it was common knowledge that they were extremely close back then but nobody knew just how close they were. "I know, Blaine, I know." His voice was a lot softer now and all he wanted to do was keep him quiet without making him angry in his drunken state. "Maybe I should take you home if you're tired."
Blaine looked up at Sam when he spoke to him softly, furrowing his brow ever so slightly before nodding, linking one of his arms through Sam's, holding himself close. "That'd be good. I don't think I'll be able to walk home on my own without falling over in the middle of the street and sleeping there. And I'm a teacher, that's not going to look good. Especially when half of the town already hate me because I'm gay."
Sam frowned slightly as Blaine spoke, hating how true everything he said was. "That's not true," he mumbled, putting an arm over his shoulder in order to keep him a little steadier. He quickly waved goodbye to the club members watching them before walking Blaine out of the door and over to where his bike was parked. The blonde stayed silent, not knowing what to say to his boyfriend and more focused on making sure he didn't fall over as they walked. "You're gonna feel like shit tomorrow, y'know."
Blaine rolled his eyes at Sam's words but remained silent, letting the blonde guide him out of the clubhouse, towards his bike. The sight of it made him grin and he rubbed his eyes, slumping a little more against his boyfriend. "Probably am. But it's your friends' faults, they're the ones who kept giving me alcohol. It'd have been rude of me to say no. I don't want to make a bad impression or anything, you know?£
Sam turned Blaine towards the bike and helped him get on it before grabbing the helmet and carefully placing it on his head, concentrating on doing up the strap before he replied. "You didn't make a bad impression, babe," he whispered, glancing around them for a second before leaning in to peck his lips, a strong taste alcohol on his mouth. "And I'm sorry for being shitty with you tonight... I was just worried you'd slip up." Kissing him once again and giving him the tiniest smile, he swung himself onto the front of his bike, making sure Blaine was still safely on. "Hold on tight and don't fall off."
Blaine wrinkled his nose a little as Sam spoke, nuzzling into him. He blinked at the tiny kiss but grinned, shaking his head. "You weren't shitty, Sam. You were just boring and wouldn't dance." He looked up at the back of his boyfriend's head when Sam sat in front of him, arms shaking around his middle and holding on tight. "I used to like riding on your bike with you, Sammy. It was fun. Try not to kill me, though."
Sam shook his head fondly and smiled at the words, before touching the hands around his waist momentarily. "Sorry for being boring. And you know I won't, I've been riding this thing for as long as I can remember. Just don't let go." Putting his hands back on the handles, he set off down the road, wanting to get Blaine home as soon as possible so he could put him to sleep. He was glad it was a Friday night because he was pretty sure Blaine would need the whole weekend to recover after the amount the drank. They arrived at Blaine's house and Sam helped him off the bike, feeling a lot more comfortable now they were away from the club.

NOTES: After breaking down to Gemma, Blaine knows he needs to tell Sam what really happened when Karofsky's men kidnapped him, even if it will break his heart.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Mentions of rape
Sam was pretty confused when he walked into Blaine's house. There was no reply when he knocked on the door so he just presumed his boyfriend was sleeping and walked straight in. But when he was in the house, he could hear quiet sobs coming from the kitchen so curiously he went in and saw Blaine sitting on the floor with his Mom holding him, surrounded by random broken things. Not knowing what to say, he glanced between the two of them, hoping for an explanation.
Blaine wasn't entirely sure what happened, wasn't sure what triggered him but before he knew what was happening, he was freaking out, throwing plates, dishes, cutlery, anything he could get his hands on across the kitchen, screaming at Gemma that it wasn't fair. Because it wasn't. Why did he have to suffer when he did nothing wrong? Karofsky had kidnapped him purely because of his sexuality and what he'd had those men do still haunted him. He still had nightmares, he still froze if Sam went anywhere near him and he hated it. His screaming went on for just over an hour and afterwards he slumped down to the floor, broken sobs escaping him. Gemma wrapped her arms around him and Blaine turned to cry into her shoulder, hands gripping at her shirt in an attempt to hold himself together. He didn't hear the front door open, nor did he hear his boyfriend approaching. The only reason he knew someone was there was because Gemma tensed, causing Blaine to look up in alarm and swallow hard at the sight of his boyfriend. Gemma leaned down to kiss the top of Blaine's head before pushing herself to her feet, moving over to Sam and whispering in his ear. "I think Blaine wants to tell you everything that happened when Karofsky's guys took him. Take him somewhere where he'll feel safe and comfortable and let him tell you in his own time, okay?"
Sam gazed down at Blaine with a concerned expression before looking at Gemma as she stood up and walked over to him. He had no idea what had just happened, especially as it looked as if somebody had broken into his house. "Okay..." he mumbled in slight confusion at her words, giving Gemma a quick hug and a kiss to the cheek before moving over to Blaine and crouching down next to him. "C'mere, take my hand, babe." He held out his hand and gently helped his boyfriend stand up, wanting to take him back to his bedroom so they could sit comfortably on his bed while he held his boy. "Are you staying here?" he asked his mom, still feeling incredibly confused. He knew something had happened but whatever it was would probably take a while to be told to him as neither one of the two people in the room looked like they communicate.
Blaine looked up when Sam crouched next to him, biting his lip and taking his hand so he could stand up. He winced slightly, mainly at the ache in the arm he'd broken, but he stayed silent. Gemma shook her head at the question, squeezing Sam's shoulder comfortingly before moving towards Blaine and kissing him on the cheek. She knew it wasn't her place and that Blaine needed to do this, and so she left the house with the promise that she'd call them later. Blaine whimpered when she left, wringing his hands together nervously and looking up at his boyfriend. "I'm scared, Sammy. I don't want you to be mad."
Sam gave his mom one last smile before turning back to Blaine and moving a little closer to him, one hand gently touching his arm. "Please don't be scared, babe. I love you and I'm not going to be mad at you, no matter what you tell me." He gave him a reassuring smile before carefully putting his arm around his waist and guiding him to his bedroom so they could sit on his bed. Once they were there, Sam held out his arms so Blaine could sit in them so he was comfortable and hopefully feeling safe. "Is there anything you wanna talk about, darlin'?"
Blaine frowned as his boyfriend spoke, knowing that wasn't the case. He swallowed hard and allowed his boyfriend to lead him up the stairs, unable to stop shaking. He sat down, wringing his hands together once again and biting his lip hard. Blaine allowed Sam to take him into his arms, hiding his face in his chest. "I... I n-need to tell you what happened when I was taken. And I've wanted to for so long, but I've been scared. I only told your mom yesterday. My doctor at the hospital knew, she had to, and I'm fine, but... Sam, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I want to tell you but I don't know how."
Sam gently began to rub Blaine's back as he curled up in his arms, making it known to him that he was there and wasn't going to move until he wanted him to. "Take as long as you need, babe. I'll be here for as long as you want me to be," he hummed, looking down at him still with a concerned expression. He had an inkling that whatever Blaine was about to tell him, Sam wasn't going to like to hear it. But he needed to be strong and in control of his temper for Blaine because he was obviously needed right now. "Maybe you could start however you told my mom and your doctor?"
Blaine could feel the tears rolling down his cheeks before he even spoke and pulled away from Sam so he could curl his knees up to his chest, wrapping his arms around them. "You're going to hate me and you're never going to want me again, Sam. I'm so ashamed of what I let them do and I h-hate it." He tightened his grip on his knees and moved his head down so his face was hidden as he choked out his next sentence. "T-They attacked me, Sam. They attacked me every single day and there was nothing I c-could do."
Sam looked at him when he pulled away, wanting to reach out and touch him to offer him comfort but not knowing if he wanted to be touched. So he clasped his hands together and bit down gently onto his lower lip, chewing at it while he listened to his boyfriend. He blinked slowly at him as he spoke, waiting for him to say more but not wanting to push like his mom asked him not to do. "I know they attacked you, babe. And I'm sorry it took me so long to find you and stop it," he whispered, looking over at him with a sad expression.
Blaine could feel his hands shaking and he clenched them into fists to try and control it. "N-No, Sammy. No, they attacked me. And I didn't try and stop them. I gave up and I let them... Oh god, I can't say it. If I say the word then I'm going to be sick. I was nearly sick when I told the doctor at the hospital and when they did the tests. And when I told your mom, I was sick." Blaine was sobbing now, each one forcing its way out of his mouth painfully and he curled into an even tighter ball, trying - and failing - to keep calm. "I'm sorry I c-couldn't stop them."
Sam felt a wave of nausea sweep over him as realisation at what Blaine was trying to tell him finally hit him. He had to squeeze his eyes shut for a second as he almost felt like he was going to be sick at the thought of Karofsky and his disgusting crew touching and harming Blaine in even more ways than he originally realised. "You were raped?" he spat out, the words coming out more like a statement rather than a question. Even though he didn't particularly want it, he needed confirmation to know he was going down the right track even though he hoped to God he wasn't.
Blaine choked out a sob as soon as Sam spoke, his entire body shaking. He kept his face completely hidden, his sobs loud and harsh as they forced their way from his throat. All he could do was nod, completely ashamed of what he was telling Sam. "They... They did it as soon as they phoned you. T-That was the first time and then they carried on. Every day. More than once." Blaine swallowed hard, risking a glance up at his boyfriend before hiding his face again. "I stopped fighting them, Sammy. I didn't fight back and I'm so ashamed."
Sam reopened his eyes and stared at Blaine, suddenly realising that he had been gripping his hands into fists and digging his nails into the palms of his hands. Up until now, he didn't think there was anything that could make that phone call worse. Having to listen to his boyfriend getting attacked over the phone and not being able to do anything about it was one thing but listening to him getting raped? That was a whole new level he didn't know how to deal with. "Oh my God," he managed to choke out, putting a hand over his mouth before swallowing heavily and turning to look at Blaine. "No. You can't be ashamed because you couldn't stop it. Who the fuck would even be able to fight back every single time?"
Blaine hated the way Sam's voice sounded, curling in on himself even more. His boyfriend sounded mad and it made him cry even harder, shying away from him. "I'm s-sorry. I just let them do it. I stopped fighting back and they got even madder and I'm so sorry." Blaine got to his feet, moving away from Sam and leaning against the wall, hiding his face in his hands. "Please don't hate me, Sammy. I'm so, so sorry. I didn't know what to do and I was so afraid."
Sam couldn't bare how much Blaine was beginning to cry and didn't know what he could do about it. In a way he was almost scared to try and touch him just in case he backed away even more, especially as right now he seemed terrified. He knew he needed to calm his temper because getting angry wouldn't solve a thing. The guys who hurt Blaine were gone and dead so there was nothing else to do other than help Blaine get over what happened, however long that would take. "I don't hate you, I hate them for doing this to you. I just..." He sighed and ran a hand through his long hair, shaking his head rapidly as he did. "I don't know what I can do or say to make you feel better, Blaine."
Blaine slowly sank down the wall until he was sat on the floor, crying softly into his hands. "I don't know either, Sam. I've been trying to deal with this on my own and I can't. I'm so ashamed and disgusted with myself for letting all of it happen and now I don't know what I'm supposed to do." He sniffled, wiping his eyes on the sleeve of his hoodie before looking up at his boyfriend, biting his lip. "Can... C-Can I have a cuddle, Sammy?" He asked quietly.
Sam watched Blaine as he sank down the wall, feeling his heart slowly break into pieces. It was difficult seeing him like this when he didn't know what to do. It used to be so easy to cheer Blaine up but lately nothing he did seemed to work any longer and Sam hated it. But at his words, the blonde gave a short nod and moved back over to his boyfriend, carefully wrapping his arms protectively around his body with a silent promise to never ever let go or stop being there for him.
Blaine immediately threw himself into Sam's arms, sobbing against his chest and gripping at his shirt as tightly as he could. He pressed himself close to him, still crying. He needed the comfort and he needed to just cry into his boyfriend's arms. "I w-want to tell you. I just didn't know how. And it's why I haven't been able to be close to you. And why I've been having nightmares. I see it every night, Sam, and I don't know what to do anymore."
Sam kept his strong arms around his body as tightly as he could without hurting Blaine, not ever wanting to let go of his fragile boyfriend. The only thing he knew to do was to hold him as he was shit at expressing himself with words even when it came down to his own boyfriend. "Fuck, I'm sorry about all the times I was complaining about wanting sex. Until you're ready, I swear I won't mention it to you. But I'm here for you. Whatever you need, I'll try and give it to you."
Blaine whimpered quietly, shaking his head at Sam. He knew he'd feel bad about complaining about Blaine's lack of interest in sex and yeah, it frustrated Blaine to know that he couldn't give Sam what he wanted, but there was just no way he'd be able to do it. He swallowed hard, nodding at the blonde and curling in closer to him. "I just hate the fact I didn't fight b-back, Sammy. I'm so ashamed of myself for not fighting them and I hate it. I hate it so much."
Sam looked down at Blaine and pressed a long kiss onto the top of his head, hoping it offered him at least a small amount of comfort. "Don't hate it. Even I wouldn't have fought back after a while..." His words trailed off and he pulled back so he could look at his boyfriend properly. "Please, whatever you do, don't be ashamed of yourself. Because there was no way you would have been able to fight them back when they were physically stronger than you. The fact that you managed to keep yourself going after being there for so long was incredible enough."
Blaine whimpered when he felt Sam pull backwards to look at him, risking a glance up at him. "It's h-hard not to be though, Sam. It's embarrassing, what happened to me, and it's why I've been so afraid to be intimate with you." He nuzzled into his boyfriend, kissing his jaw gently. "I just want to try and move past this. I tried on my own and I couldn't do it and... And it made me realise that I needed to tell you, Sammy. I needed to tell you what happened so I could try and accept it."
Sam nodded understandingly, not saying anything because he got it and he knew that Blaine knew that. There wasn't really anything he needed to say because his arms wrapped around him said everything he wasn't able to express. "I'm here, darlin'. Always," he whispered, lips quirking up slightly at the fond nickname. Tentatively, he leaned forwards and pressed a soft kiss onto his lips, keeping things chaste and sweet for him. "I love you so much. Whatever you choose to do now, I promise I'm here to support you."
Blaine gave a faint smile at the word "darlin'", ducking his head a little and sighing. The kiss to his lips surprised him and honestly, Blaine was surprised that Sam even wanted to touch him after what he'd told him. But Blaine was going to take advantage of it and cuddled into the blonde, sighing quietly. "I love you too. You know I do, Sammy. I just... I need to focus on getting better, however hard it's going to be. I have to try, right?"
Sam couldn't help but feel a little more hopeful at the smile that appeared on Blaine's face because he knew it meant that he was doing something right. Even though it was small, it was a start, especially when he'd barely seen him smile over the last few days. "Of course you have to try. You're one of the strongest and bravest people I know and you'll be able to get through this no matter how hard it's gonna be."
Blaine furrowed his brow at Sam's words and shook his head, moving to stand up slowly and wiping his eyes. "I'm not strong or brave, Sam. I'm... No. They took that away from me." He gave a sad smile before moving over to sit on the edge of the bed, wringing his hands together nervously. "So what now? I don't mean that all dramatically as in 'what's going to happen in our future'. I just... I mean what are we supposed to do now because it's not like I can go down and cook us dinner or something when I've just told you that. If anything, I just want to shower again because I feel so dirty."
Sam leaned forwards and gently placed his hand on Blaine's, rubbing his thumb over his knuckles in order to relax them and stop him from wringing them together. "I don't know, baby. It's up to you because I don't know what you want. Anything you do though, I'm gonna be here for you. If you want to shower then go do that." He lifted his other hand and lovingly touched Blaine's cheek, allowing his fingertips to caress the skin. "I think we should try and be like normal though, babe. Obviously we can't ignore all of this but if we start acting differently then things are going to change too much. If there are nights you just wanna cry in my arms then that's fine but the best way for you to move on is if we be together the way we were before all this shit happened, right?"
Blaine froze when he felt Sam's hands on his, stopping him from wringing his hands together. He let out a soft sigh, leaning into the touch to his cheek immediately. "I... I think I'm just going to go shower. Talking about everything has made me feel dirty and disgusting again, and I really don't want that." He nodded at his boyfriend's words, knowing that Sam was right. "Y-Yeah... yeah, okay. I'm probably going to cry into your arms a lot though, Sammy, and I'm sorry."
Sam nodded at his words and brushed his hair away from his face before finally moving back from Blaine slightly so he was able to move away when he wanted to. "You can do that if you want to. I don't care what you do as long as it makes you feel better in the long run." With one last quick kiss to his boyfriend's cheek, Sam fully pulled back from him and gave him a soft smile. "I love you more than anything, including my cut and bike."
Blaine nodded at him and smiling faintly. "Okay... Okay, thank you," he said quietly, getting to his feet and brushing their lips together tenderly. "Wow. You must really love me a lot then, huh?" He grinned and moved closer to kiss his boyfriend again, pulling away again. "When... When I've had a shower, I'll make us dinner, okay? Or maybe we can just order pizza or something."
Sam couldn't help but grin right back at Blaine, suddenly realising just how much he had missed that smile. Even though he managed to catch one every now and again it was rare that he saw his boyfriend smile anymore meaning every time he did, Sam treasured it. "I really do. And that sounds perfect, all of it. Go clean yourself up and I'll be right here, darlin'. I should probably make a few calls and tell everyone I'm spending tomorrow with you."
NOTES: Blaine finally tells someone what really happened when Karofsky's men kidnapped him.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Mentions of rape
It’d been two months since Sam had rescued Blaine from Karofsky and his other kidnappers, and Blaine was still struggling. Most of his injuries had healed up, but Blaine was still terrified of several things and one of the main ones was intimacy. He loved cuddling up to his boyfriend at night and he loved when Sam would kiss the top of his head lovingly, or peck his lips and say he loved him but anything other than that freaked him out. One morning, Blaine had woken up and felt something hard pressing into his back. It’d taken him a moment to realise that it was Sam, and he was hard. As soon as he had, he’d leapt out of bed and began to cry, memories of his torture coming flooding back.
He still hadn’t told anyone the full extent of what happened when he was in that basement because he didn’t know how. How were you supposed to tell people that you were raped, and there was nothing you could do? Just the thought of it made him feel sick and Blaine had been trying to push it to the back of his mind for as long as he could. But there was no way he could do it anymore. It was too much, to difficult, and he needed to tell someone before he completely lost his mind.
The problem was, Blaine didn’t know who to tell.
That was one of the reasons he’d kept silent about what happened. Sam would be furious and heartbroken, so he was out of the question, for now at least. None of the other members of the club could be trusted because there was always a chance that they would tell Sam, and his work colleagues weren’t people he was really close to.
It was only when he was in the SAMCRO clubhouse one evening that the thought came to him. He was sat a little way away from the bar, on one of the couches with his phone in his hand, scrolling through it aimlessly. One of the workers, one of the girls that worked with SAMCRO making porn, was telling Gemma about how she once had a horrible boyfriend who made her go out onto the streets and sleep with men for money just so he could buy drugs and sell them on. Surprisingly enough, Gemma was nothing but sympathetic to her
It was an impulsive decision, Blaine knew that, but what else could he do? Keeping it hidden, not telling anyone what happened to him was killing him. It didn’t matter that all of his test results had came back clear and he was clean. It still haunted him and he needed to do something about it.
“Gemma, can I talk to you?”
The words were out of his mouth before he could really stop it and Blaine was staring up at Sam’s mother. He was wringing his hands together nervously, almost obsessively, and when Gemma turned around he froze for a moment before starting again.
“Sure thing, sweetheart. Let’s go in here.”
The older woman guided him away from the bar and into a backroom, sitting him down on one of the barrels of beer. Blaine was still wringing his hands together, eyes fixed on a spot in front of him.
“It’s about what happened when Karofsky’s men kidnapped me,” he said after a full minute, swallowing hard. “I’ve only told my doctor and that’s because I was scared. I needed to be c-checked, Gemma. I was… I was attacked.” Blaine practically spat the words out, clearly terrified of what she would say.
“I know, Blaine. We know you were attacked but… What are you trying to tell me?
He took a deep breath and ducked his head, his entire body shaking. “N-No… No, I was attacked. And now I’m afraid to let Sam anywhere near me.”
“Blaine, you can trust me,” she said quietly, taking a seat next to him and putting her hands over his so he’d stop wringing them together.
The younger man couldn’t stop shaking, tears rolling down his cheeks silently. He was struggling to even breathe properly, eventually choking out. “I’ve been feeling so ashamed of myself, Gemma… I feel weak and dirty. And I’ve not known how to tell anyone.”
“Dirty… Why do you…? Blaine, please don’t tell me you were-”
“N-No! No, please don’t say it, Gemma.”
“You were raped.”
It wasn’t a question and even if it was, Blaine wasn’t entirely sure that he could answer. If anything, he just sobbed even harder and covered his face with his hands, crying into them. He felt Gemma’s arm wrap around his shoulders and pull him closer to her.
“It’s okay, sweetheart,” she said quietly, kissing the top of his head. “We’ll figure this whole thing out together, I promise. You don’t have to be close to Sam, or anyone until you’re ready.”
Blaine could only nod at her, trying – and failing – to calm himself down. But it didn’t matter that he couldn’t stop crying, and it didn’t matter that he was clinging to her, as though holding on for his life, because he’d finally told someone and he didn’t feel so alone.
