I mean, I can believe a win might have been pushing it. More, I think I was hoping for maybe, like, not an absolute failure. The two aren’t really related, but if there’s no good news too be had, it’s not unfair to hold on to whatever we can. I wasn’t expecting Pretty Little Liars: Sapphic Witches Edition. Imma need a drink- and a strong one- before the next episode.

Well I don’t mean like a big win, just... a small one, you know? Definitely wasn’t expecting a dead girl... not what I had in mind when I called her zombie girl. Except in this one we know who the killer is... this is more of a SAW : Sapphic Witches Edition. There’s a party coming up though, there’ll be drinks.

Oh…I - uhm thank you? It’s less agreeing and more giving in. 

I try and be useful where I can be. Not much of a fighter but if I can help Hunter or anyone else then that’s what I’ll do. Maybe. It would sure be helpful if they could give me tips on how to pretend better. Never really got that whole fake it till you make it thing. Does anyone ever get to a point where they make it?

Damn, and I thought that’d be the highlight of the week. I’m glad I got my supplies all the more, now. Even if I missed out on some hot gossip. Like, the last couple of days have been absolute shit.

Didn’t we all... should’ve known better than to expect a win against the faculty. And now we’re all at a lost, so good for you, at least, for getting those supplies... the hot gossip won’t stop coming anyway, you’ll catch up.

I don’t know about all of you, but I’m ready for a fresh start. First order of business: lifting our spirits — not the Jordan kind. I can do it magically for anyone who wants to try that, or we can do it the old fashion way. Who’s feeling a party?

Sorry, I get a little…rambly when I’m nervous. You’re really not going to quit until I agree, are you? Uhm…okay then? But when this goes terribly, don’t say I didn’t warn you.

That would be my issue then. I should work on hiding it better. And maybe you’re not all with the offensive or defensive magic, but you can help other people. Make them stronger and stuff. Plus I imagine throwing needles or a tattoo machine at someone wouldn’t be all too pleasant. Yeah I know, just some of us are playing them better.

DEVON: I'm starting to get the sense that you all use insults as terms of endearment.

DEVON: A couple days at most. Just enough to take the edge off.

KAI: See, you're already starting to get the hang of it. You'll get there. Not everything has to be so serious all the time.

DEVON: I don't know, it might kill someone. Jeez, it's not about standards or anything. Way to make me sound up like some stuck up bitch.

DEVON: I can do any time after class today, or this weekend. How long will it last?

KAI: lol, right. Awww Barbie, it was a joke. How can I make you not sound like a stuck up bitch when you take everything so serious?. Maybe you really /should/ spend more time with us.

Well, no, but you guys don’t have an option, do you? I can do my stuff whenever I want. Cool, good to hear. Val happens to be important to me, so you better take care of her. At some point we’re just gonna have to come to terms that maybe we’re not super equipped to handle this. Hopefully before one of us gets hurt. …Fine, but no butterflies anywhere, I’m not a mid 2000′s cheerleader.

Doubt Devon would like that. I... she’s important to me too, I... yeah, I mean, of course I take care of her. And I think we’re coming to terms with it very, very, slowly. Not sure if it’ll be in time though... I don’t know, don’t wanna sound pessimistic but with all the tension growing thicker by the minute, I believe any of us can get hurt any moment... Nah, you don’t strike me as the butterfly type anyway. We’ll figure something out.

I’m not good with people and there’s a lot of baggage and there are way cooler people around and I don’t exactly have much experience and did I mention the part where I’m really not good with people? You really don’t know what you’re getting into and it’s better for the both of us that I give you an out now. 

I’m still wrapping my head around going to war. I’m just a 22 year old fuck up who gardens and talks to animals for fun. Everyone else seems so on top of things What can I do? Throw a bunch of feral squirrels at the faculty?

DEVON: I could try to be more uptight next time if you prefer. I don't really know what you're trying to say so either spit it out or don't.

DEVON: I tried it with Eilwin the other day and it's fine. It helps, but I need something that lasts a little longer. I'm so tired and pissed of being... well, pissed all the time.

KAI: Spending lots of time with good 'ol Eil, I see. Gotta love that for you ;). But yes, weed can only last for so long and it sounds /exhausting/ to be you.

DEVON: Depends. Can you make one that'll dropkick my rage off the roof?

KAI: Idk... there's a lot of rage on that body. jkjk, I think I can figure something out if you just want some peace of mind...
