step 2. once the treacle has thoroughly melted in the pan (studio), ban them from using anything other than acoustic instruments and a broken tape machine. then stick them in the oven! i guess we’ll fix this mess in step 3…

black treacle’s in an unfortunate pickle. when we were in montreal, someone must have hijacked our streaming service accounts and leaked EXIT SIGN out onto everything… who would decide to do this? was this song recorded on ~TAPE~? does this mean we have an album coming out? why is harry’s mixing absolutely bumping? we have more questions than answers.

we have been asked recently, “black treacle, how do you have so much fun while writing such sad music?” and to this, we share an account of our very fun day at the playground, containing no sadness at all. MTL has never known such uplifting and positive energy.
