Now though – now Frank knew that it had always meant more to her, he was seeing things more clearly. And that’s why he felt stupid. Because it had taken her being the brave one and telling him how she felt, for him to realise that of course it meant more to him as well. That there was a reason she was always the one he gravitated towards in a crowded room. Because, well, he liked her too. Maybe even more than that.
